Faculty/Staff Co-Rec Volleyball for the Fall 2017 semester

In an effort to provide an increased number of physical fitness offerings to BU Faculty/Staff, FitRec will once again be offering a co-ed faculty/staff only intramural volleyball league! Unlike our regular intramural leagues which takes place on the weekends and late at night, this league will be designed to accommodate the schedules of our “non-student” population!

·  Games will take place Monday-Thursday nights – no pesky weekend games!

·  All games will start at 6:00pm, allowing you time to make it over to FitRec after work

·  All games will end by 7:00pm, allowing you to miss rush hour!

·  Team members do NOT need to be FitRec members to participate

The league will begin the week of October 2 and run until (approximately) the week of November 13. Each team will play 1 game per week and have 1 bye week when they will not play. We will not hold Fac/Staff games on Columbus Day (note: to make up for this, one game will have to take place at a 7:00pm slot that week).

This league will be available to the first 8 teams to register so gather your coworkers and sign up today! The champion team will receive not only bragging rights, but the coveted and highly collectible Intramural Champion t-shirts!

ELIGIBILITY STATEMENT - Submitting this roster certifies that the captain knows and understands all of the intramural rules. This league is designed primarily for faculty staff, however we do understand that people’s schedules can fluctuate. If teams need to have a student or two (maybe who work in their office) fill on occasion it is understood that will be acceptable.

SCHEDULING STATEMENT – It is understood that the above information will be used to build your team’s regular season schedule. Playoffs will also be scheduled for 6pm time slots. In the case that a team requests reschedule due to difficultly of assembling a team, it is understood that reschedule requests may not necessarily be able to happen at the 6pm hour.
