If you’ve struggled to figure out how to get paid to do what you love, you’re going to love today’s tool.

I’m going to challenge you to think outside the box. There’s not just one way to make money. Below, I’ve listed 8, but there are probably lots more.

Here they are: 8 ways you can get paid to do what you love:

$ Do it yourself: If you like to make something, like beautiful handbags or delicious cookies, you can make these items and sell them yourself. It’s easy to get started selling crafts, jewelry and more on a website like Etsy.com

$ Sell other people’s stuff: Maybe you adore jewelry, but you don’t want to make your own. You can surround yourself with your true love and talk about it all day long by selling other people’s stuff.

$ Sell information about your passion: Whatever your obsession, you can probably find a way to sell information about it. Maybe you want to create your own blog about your interest, or become an expert, consultant or speaker or teacher on your topic.

$ Fix something: Are there people who need a solution related to your passion? Maybe you love makeup, and you know there are tons of people out there just dying to have you give them a makeover. Figure out what solution you can provide related to your passion.

$ Connect people: What if you could create a paid membership site, club, association, group, or event based on your passion?

$ Add-ons: Maximize your profits by including related items. If you’re into music, you don’t have to just market your original works. You could also sell lessons, other

people’s music, information about it, events, instruments and more. See what add-ons you might be able to find related to your passion.

$ Leverage your time: There are only so many hours in the day. If you’re doing something that involves trading hours for dollars (ex: a therapist charges per hour), then find a way to leverage your time. Teach groups of other therapists, offer group sessions, etc.

$ Become an affiliate: Did you know there are people out there willing to pay you to promote their stuff? One of the biggest is Amazon. You can sell their books and other items through your website and get paid to do it. So whether you have a blog about fly fishing, or you have a blog about blogging, or personal development, you can find a way to get paid to show your fans other people’s stuff!
