Date Of Sale

The sale will commence at 12.00pm on Tuesday 20th February 2018 & Wednesday 21st February 2018.

Venue
The venue is the Holy Souls Social Club, opposite Midland School Wear, Acocks Green, Birmingham, B27 7BP

Location

The club is located on the Warwick Road, between Birmingham (5miles) and Solihull (3miles). The entrance to the club is via a drive way, located between the Holy Souls Church and Ibrahims Restaurant, opposite the KFC Restaurant.

Clients requiring local accomodation are recommended to use the Best Western Westley Hotel, which is just 0.4miles from the venue. Plenty of other hotels are also located in Solihull/Birmingham area, to suit all varying budgets.

Viewing Arrangements

Viewing will take place as detailed on the previous page.

As the more valuable items are being stored at the local bank, viewing at any other time will be by arrangement with Sporting Memorys Worldwide Auctions Ltd

Registration

It is requested that all clients register before entering the viewing room.

Auctioneers

The Auctioneers conducting the sale are Trevor Vennett-Smith and Tim Davidson. Please note they are only acting for Sporting Memorys Worldwide Auctions on the sale day. No communication should be made with them prior to the sale.
Whilst the bidding increments will be solely at the Auctioneers discretion, they will normally be 10% of the preceding bid.

If any dispute arises during the auction, then their decision will be binding, even if they choose to re offer the specific lot again.

It is possible to arrange for clients to bid live during the auction. This must be arranged in advance with Sporting Memorys Worldwide Auctions, and will be allocated on a 'first come, first served basis'
Bidding on the internet. Live During The Sale

Sporting Memory’s offer an online bidding service via the-saleroom.com for bidders who cannot attend the sale.

In completing the bidder registration on www.the-saleroom.com and providing your credit card details (for identification purposes only) you authorize Sporting Memory’s to invoice you for the full amount including an extra 4% + VAT commission surcharge.
Payment should be made in accordance with our ‘payment of accounts’ terms shown below.

Commission Bid by Letter. Fax. Telephone or E-Mail

A client may instruct the auctioneer to bid on their behalf up to a fixed amount. The commission will be executed at a price as low as other bidding allows. Please remember that all methods of bidding attract the commission of 18% on the hammer price.
The closing date for bidding by letter is the day of the sale. Bidding by Fax should be completed by 9.00AM on the morning of the sale.
Bidding by Telephone can be made up to 9.30AM on the day of the sale on 07973 311 123.
Payment of accounts

The accounts office will be open to accept payment, thirty minutes after the start. Payment can be made by Cheque, Bank Draft, Money Order or Cash. It is deeply regretted that due to the very high cost involved we are not able to accept payment by any debit or credit cards.

Invoices for clients not attending the sale will be forwarded by Monday 14th August 2017, and a payment is due within 7 days.
Goods Collection

No goods can be collected until payment has been made in full. In the event of a client paying by cheque, an amount exceeding the bank guarantee card limit, then the goods will not be released until the cheque has cleared. NO EXCEPTION WILL BE, MADE IN ANY CIRCUMSTANCES unless prior arrangement has been made with Robert Adcock of Sporting Memory's Worldwide Auctions Ltd, which may include the references being required from the client’s bankers.
Despatch and postal charges

All lots not paid for or collected on the day of the sale will be sent to the successful purchasers at the standard (over the counter) cost charged by the Post Office or Courier Service requested (does not include any discount applied for Business Franking).
Packaging and labour required will be charged at a nominal fee, per invoice.

Any lots sent to the purchaser, which were delayed due to cheque clearance, will also attract all afore mentioned costs.
Description Of Lots

Items sold at auction are generally of some age, accordingly lots are sold on an 'As, Is' basis, subject to all faults, imperfections
and errors of description.

It should be noted that all bidders should be deemed to have satisfied themselves as to the condition of items prior to submitting
a bid by any method. You are strongly advised to examine any lot that you are interested in prior to the sale, as it is your
responsibility to satisfy yourself as to each and even' aspect of the lot.
