Opportunities are being offered to Netball players who are Under 12/ Under U13/U14 in the Bournemouth and surrounding area of Dorset who have been recommended by their Club/School coach as a player with talent potential
SCREENING will be taking place at
SIR DAVID ENGLISH SPORTS CENTRE East Way, Bournemouth, BH8 9PZ
Travel directions on AA route planner or similar – on -
WEDNESDAY 17th September and WEDNESDAY 24th September 2014, 5.00-7.00pm
FOR PLAYERS UNDER 12/UNDER 13/UNDER 14 (on 1st Sept 2014)
TRAINING SESSIONS: 5.00 - 6.30pm
8th Oct, 22nd Oct, 5th Nov, 19th Nov, 3rd Dec, 14th Jan, 28th Jan, 11th Feb, 25th Feb,
11th March, 18th March (Mini Tmt with other Satellites), 1st April, Sat 18th April (Session with Weymouth Satellite)
SUCCESSFUL TRIALLISTS will be required to:
◙ Be a member of a Netball Club or join upon selection.
◙ Demonstrate potential for talent development
◙ Attend all Training Sessions
◙ Arrange own travel to Area Venue
◙ Be prepared to work hard individually and as part of a team on skills, fitness, court work and possible home training
◙ Have full affiliation to England Netball, Netball South West Region and Dorset County (for insurance purposes and other benefits).
The PERFORMANCE PATHWAY will provide for Players:
◙ A high level of coaching from the Dorset coaching team.
◙ Player development linked to England Netball Performance Standards
◙ Opportunity for future training at the County Academy sessions
◙ Access for identification to National Performance programmes
◙ Performance Pathway information on: www.englandnetball.co.uk/international/performance
COSTS:
◙ Screening - £5.00
◙ Upon selection: Programme - £50 (to include T-shirt/Handbook)
◙ Full England Netball affiliation - Cost £15
