2015 NCTOA SWAT Competition

March 31st-April 2nd,2015

March 30, 2015Early check in starting at 1400.

Team Leaders meeting at 1800. Location TBD

Teams will receive their event assignments/courses at this meeting.

March 31, 20150800-0900 Teams begin staging on Range 1 for Roll Call

`0900-0930Competition begins at ranges

(Events: Elevation-Range 4, 4-gun Relay-Range 1,10 Alpha-Range 2)

Teams will complete 3 events prior to a long lunch break.Registered teams will be broken into groups and complete their first event and rotate to the next as a group.

1600Team Roll Call - Center Range

1600-1700 Vendor demos. (Mandatory attendance)

1730-1830Vendor Catered dinner for attendees. Games to win prizes during dinner.

1900-DoneTeams will complete two nighttime events.

(Events: So Tired-Range 4, To the Rescue-Range 3)

April 1, 20150800-0900 Teams begin staging on Range 1 for Roll Call

0900-0930Competition Begins at Ranges

(Events:Duskin’s Drag-Range 1, Party of Four-PT,Officer Down, Range-4)

Teams will complete 3 events until completion. Registered teams will be broken into groups and complete their first event and rotate to the next as a group.

1800-?Vendor demonstrations

Vendor Catered dinner for attendees. Gamesto win prizes during dinner.

April 2, 20150800-1100Final Event – Team Carry-All Ranges and clean up.

1130-1230Awards ceremony traditional picture of all teams that participated.

Equipment List:

Teams consist of at least 6 members with one acting as a sniper.

  1. Helmet
  2. Eye Protection
  3. Ear Protection
  4. Gas Mask with Filter
  5. Issued Soft Body armor
  6. Entry Vest (full kit)
  7. Belt
  8. Hand gun with at least two magazines
  9. Subgun and/or rifle with two magazines
  10. Shotgun
  11. Handcuff with Key
  12. Gloves
  13. Boots
  14. BDU style pants or equivalent
  15. Ammunition allotment – All course should be able to be shot clean with 50 rds. Per man of handgun, less than 20 of rifle/subgun, 20 rds. For sniper rifle and 5-10 slug, 25 birdshot. This is an estimate and teams should bring more for events that allow unlimited ammunition. If you have specific concerns contact us prior to 3/25/15.

*If you lack the equipment or have specific questions, contact us. Several Items can be provided.

NOTE: Weapons must be departmental duty assigned weapons to include duty ammo or the equivalent. No reloads, no off duty weapons, no competition modified weapons.

Integrity is key so bring proper equipment and train hard!
