CAUCUS AGENDA

  1. Approve the Caucus & Business Meeting minutes of October 10, 2017.
  2. Approve the Treasurer/Secretary report for the month of October 2017.
  3. Approve the current and auxiliary List of Bills for payment, and any and all bills that will be forthcoming in the month of November 2017.
  4. Ratify Resolution 16-2017, establishing policy standards relating to the utility pole placement of banners honoring military veterans
  5. Approve Resolution 17-2017, adopting the Allegheny County 2015 Hazard Mitigation Plan as recommended by the Township Solicitor & Engineer.
  6. Approve Resolution 18-2017, appointing Justin Gutt as Emergency Management Coordinator.
  7. Approve Resolution 19-2017, joining with other affected municipalities to help create a unified approach to reduce flow source within the ALCOSAN service area.
  8. Approve the eligibility list for the position of part-time police officer.
  9. Approve to hire part-time officers based upon the recommendation of the interviewers and contingent upon passing physical exam and drug screening.

MANAGER’S REPORT MS4 Monthly Report Gerald G. Orsini (on file) Manager will call for a vote to approve Schneider Downs to complete the 2017 Annual Budget audit for a total cost of $4,495.00.

TREASURER’S REPORT Melvin Weinstein (on file) The Treasurer will present the 2018 estimated annual budget and comments on the state of financial affairs.

Mr. Weinstein will call for a motion to accept the 2018 Estimated Annual Budgets for the General, Sewer, and Liquid Fuel budgets which will be available for public review Monday thru Friday between 8:30am and 4:00pm at the Secretary’s office 340 Forest Grove Road.

ANNOUNCEMENTS: The next Township Business meeting will be December 12th2017 at 6:00pm prevailing time.
