4.  Work Plan

Please, make a work plan and elaborate on timing and frequency of visits to partner organisations in relation to the work plan. Feel free to use the work plan template attached to this document. Alternatively the Advisor can choose another work plan template, if preferred.

5.  Line Management

The Country Director is responsible for identifying a formal AA Line Manager to the Advisor. The AA Line Manger will be overall responsible for the Advisor – in particular securing proper and timely reporting. If the Advisor is placed with a strategic partner organisation, the daily Line Management may be the responsibility of the partner organisation.

6.  Reporting

The Advisor is required to write an “Advisor Progress Report” every 6 months following the regular programme reporting cycle of AAI. The report must be commented by the AAI Line Manager and a designated partner representative.

The Advisor, the AA Line Manager and the designated partner representative meet at a joint assessment meeting to discuss the Advisor progress report. The Advisor will make notes during this meeting and writes up the joint assessment report which is to be signed by all three parties. The AA Line Manager is responsible for the report to meet standards and include all relevant information. The AA Line Manager is further responsible for uploading and filing official Advisor documents on HIVE. https://hive.actionaid.org/People4Change/
