ADVANCED NURSE PRACTITIONER

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a permanent Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join the Community nursing Team in the West Division. You will be deployed to meet the needs of the Division, including Community services, GP Practices, Care Homes and Community inpatient areas. You must be a registered nurse on part one of the NMC register and have extensive clinical knowledge and leadership experience. You must have evidence of completion of master’s level modules relating to advanced clinical practice and a commitment to completion of the full masters degree. You will be a non-medical prescriber and have a range of advanced clinical practice qualifications. Experience in telephone triage, minor illness, minor injury and paediatrics would be advantageous, but not essential.

This post will initially be based within Linburn Road Surgery, Dunfermline, to cover maternity leave.

An ability to travel will be necessary for this post.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and highly skilled nurse to lead on the development and delivery of care to the people of Fife who attend Sexual Health services across the region.

The service is modern, innovative and provides care across Fife in a variety of settings from hospital based clinics to the university campus. The service works closely with third sector partners and you will be an excellent communicator who is excited by the prospect of building and maintaining these relationships with our partner organisations for the benefit of the people of Fife.

You will lead your team of nurses to ensure that the care provided is of the highest quality and is evidence based. You will evidence knowledge of national drivers in Sexual Health and how these affect the population of Fife. You will be a registered nurse educated to Bachelor degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.

An opportunity has arisen for a Community Mental Health Nurse Band 6 post based within West Fife Mental Health Services. Experience caring for older adults, experiencing a wide range of Mental Health problems is essential.

The post holder will be able to demonstrate a person centred approach, initiative, and problem solving skills, they will be flexible, have high level communication skills, team working and leadership skills with a commitment to engagement in partnership working with a range of key stakeholders. The post holder will manage their own caseload, and good time management skills are essential. The post involves assessing patients in their own home, developing care plans, promoting independence and self care. Carer support is also an important part of the role.

You will receive a comprehensive induction package and supportive educational development. We are committed to Mentorship/Preceptorship, clinical supervision and personal development.

Ability to travel throughout Fife is essential.

PLANNED CARE DIRECTORATE – INPATIENT PAIN MANAGEMENT SERVICE

PAIN MANAGEMENT NURSE SPECIALIST

REF NO: HH616/11/17EBL

SALARY: £26,830 - £35,933 PRO RATA

BAND 6 – HOURS: 30

The Fife Pain Management Service requires an experienced Nurse proficient in In-patient pain management to join their small team.

You must have extensive experience in the acute care setting. An up to date knowledge of evidence-based practice, an understanding of the delivery of an Inpatient pain management service, Epidural, PCA and IV Bolus competencies are essential. An MSc in Pain Management and/or qualified as an independent/supplementary prescriber would be desirable.

It is a busy nurse led service requiring assertiveness, good communication skills, team working and an ability to time manage the demands of this clinical role efficiently with a commitment to learning. Hours will be worked to meet the needs of the service which may include weekends, flexibility in working patterns is essential to provide service provision.
