Setting up your voicemail**
1. Pick up the receiver and dial *99.
2. Enter the default PIN: 000000
3. To change your PIN press 4 (settings menu) then 3 (security menu) and then press 1 and follow the automated prompts.
4. After changing your PIN, press the * key twice to return to the main menu.
5. To set up your greetings press 3 and follow the automated prompts.
CommPortal
CommPortal provides a web interface to your phone setting and allows you to:
  • view recent call.
  • view and listen to your voicemails.
  • set up your contacts.
  • change your phone’s and phones system’s settings.
Access the CommPortal
1. Point your web browser at https://smartipadmin.centurylink.com/
2. Enter your phone number in the Number field.
3. Enter your PIN in the Password field. (Voicemail PIN for Premium Users)
4. Click Login.
Once you have logged in, you will see the CommPortal Dashboard. This gives you a quick at-a-glance summary of your messages, missed calls, contacts and phone settings.







If you need assistance with using CommPortal, you can click on the Help icon at the top right of the window. / CommAssistant Toolbar**
The CommAssistant Toolbar is a program that gives you fast access to the commonly used phone setting from your desktop, as well as one-click access to the CommPortal Dashboard.
Install CommAssistant Toolbar** (requires admin rights on your PC)
1. Log into the CommPortal.
2. Click on the Settings tab.
3. Click on the Toolbar tab.
4. Click on the Download the toolbar installer hyperlink.

5. Click Run and the follow the on screen instruction.
6. Once the Toolbar has been installed, click on the toolbar icon in your system tray.
7. Click on CommAssistant Settings.
8. Enter your phone number in the number field.
9. Enter your voicemail PIN in the password field.
10. Click OK.
11. Right click on your desktop toolbar.
12. Scroll to Toolbars and ensure
CommAssistant has a check by it.
The CommAssistant should now appear in your toolbar.
