UNIFORM LIST AND REGULATIONS FOR 2016

PRIMARY SCHOOL

1.  GRADES 00/0

Do not wear a school uniform.

2.  GRADES 1-6

GIRLS – SUMMER AND WINTER

Ø  Navy-blue shorts or navy-blue skorts

Ø  Jade golf shirt

Ø  Navy-blue V-neck jersey may be worn when cold.

Ø  Tracksuit: School tracksuit - may be worn over shorts and jade golf shirt when cold.

Ø  Socks: Short, white (plain) ankle socks (no “secret socks”).

Ø  Shoes: Predominantly white track shoes (no canvas shoes).

BOYS – SUMMER AND WINTER

Ø  Black or navy-blue bathing cap or navy-blue or black “Second-skin all-in-one” and black or navy-blue bathing cap.

GIRLS

Navy-blue or black one-piece, “Speedo”-type bather.

4. SPORT:

Where possible, the school uses the Physical Education uniform for sport. However,

please take note of the particular requirements for the following sports:

7. UNIFORM AND APPEARANCE:
Parents are to ensure that:

Ø  Boys have a neat and acceptable haircut: conservative, clean, tapered, off the collar and ears, and not worn over the eyes. Clothing is to be pressed, tidy and clean,

Ø  Girls have a neat hairstyle and, if it is shoulder length, it should be tied with a navy-blue or white ribbon or bauble. Hair may not be worn over the eyes.

Ø  Girls are permitted to wear conservative, small, round, gold or silver sleepers or studs in their ears (one in each ear only).

Ø  Girls: Skorts to be worn at reasonable length.

Ø  All clothing should be clearly marked.

Ø  All clothing should be clean, in good repair and well-pressed.

Ø  Sports vest may not be worn as school uniform.

Book bags/satchels: Navy-blue or black. It must be large enough to hold A4 size books. Suitcases/briefcases are also permissible. Tog bags are not suitable for carrying books.
