CALL TO ORDER / The Regular Meeting of the Village Board of the Village of Bridgeview was called to order by Clerk Altar at 7:01 p.m., on Wednesday,
March 2, 2011.

PORFIRIO TO POLICE PENSION BOARD / Roll Call indicated the following Trustees present:
Trustees Cecott, Pticek, Pinion, Higginson, Struzik and Sutton
Also Present: Attorney Perlman, Police Sergeant Kokkinis, Battalion Chief Butkus, Public Works Director Cronch, EMA Director Vilimek, and Treasurer Smith
Motion by Trustee Cecott and seconded by Trustee Higginson to appoint Trustee Pticek as Temporary Chairman for the meeting.
Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 5 – Trustees Cecott, Pinion, Higginson, Struzik and Sutton
NAYS: 0
ABSTAIN: 1 – Trustee Pticek
There being five affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED
Motion by Trustee Pinion and seconded by Trustee Higginson to approve the Minutes of the Regular Meeting held on February 16, 2011.
Upon roll call, the vote was:
AYES: 6 – Trustees Cecott, Pticek, Pinion, Higginson, Struzik and Sutton
NAYS: 0
There being six affirmative votes, the MOTION CARRIED

Motion by Trustee Higginson and seconded by Trustee Sutton to concur with the Mayor’s appointment of Michael Porfirio to the Police Pension Board

Motion by Trustee Higginson and seconded by Trustee Sutton to Adopt a Proclamation Establishing the Week of February 27, 2011 – March 5, 2011 as National Severe Weather Awareness Week.
