Relief Security Supervisor

Position Summary

Chances Dawson Creek is currently on the lookout for a vibrantandpassionate Relief Security Supervisor interested in furthering their career in our Security/Surveillance Department. Under the direct supervision of the Security Manager and Security Supervisors, our Relief Security Supervisorwill be responsible for the safety and protection of employees, guests, and company assets. Duties and Responsibilities Include:
  • Ensure the safety of employees and customers, while protecting company property and assets.
  • Escort armored car personnel, cash, guests, team members or change fills to ensure safety and security of people and assets
  • Monitor and document a variety of activities: interruptions of video recording, power failures; evacuations; incidents involving theft, found property or customer disputes
  • Perform identification checks on suspected minors, excluded and self-excluded guests. Report breaches to the Security/Surveillance Manager
  • Supervision of team members, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed and that Security Officers are delivering exceptional guest service
  • Maintain confidentiality of all situations and correctly reporting on any issues to Security /Surveillance Manager.
  • Self-exclusion enrollments, iTrak & CIMS report writing
  • Security Supervisors will be required to attend to First Aid incidents, after completing an Occupation First Aid level II course
  • Performs duties surrounding surveillance needs as required
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of the company, GPEB and BCLC as they relate to functions of the position.

As a Successful Candidate YOU will possess the following qualifications:
  • Minimum 6 months of Security experience with Great Canadian
  • Gaming Security Officer training and additional training as requested
  • Serving It Right Certification
  • Valid Occupational First Aid Level 2 certification an asset
  • Must possess excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
  • Computer proficiency and experience with MS Office and Outlook
  • Ability to provide leadership in a team environment
  • Possess a high level of honesty and integrity
  • Must be available to work a variety of shifts including days, nights and weekends
Compensation
Chances offers $16.25-18.75 per hour (dependent on skill level), an extended benefits plan which includes medical, dental, vision care and MSP coverage, to eligible employees, as well as provides growth opportunities to our rising stars.
