APEC EGNRET SURVEY

The APEC Expert Group for New and Renewable Energy Technologies, EGNRET, is building a Collaborative Projects Integrator (APEC-CPI) for researching, developing and utilizing sustainable energy technologies, products and services in the APEC region.

APEC-CPI represents an exchange for facilitating sustainable energy investment. Investing in renewable energy solutions is the primary force driving all other investment activities. The delivery of renewable energy solutions is supported by: Distributed Generation: e.g. micro-turbines, diesel, fuel cells; Energy Storage: e.g. batteries, hot water, flywheels; Electricity T&D: e.g. grid-support, net-metering; Energy Efficiency: e.g. motors, drives, pumps; Energy Conservation: e.g. passive solar building design; Demand Response measures: e.g. ripple control, peak shaving; and, Power Electronics with associated Ancillary Services: e.g. power conditioning, power-flow switching & control.

APEC-CPI will create an on-line market place for removing barriers and impediments to financing, developing, commercializing and implementing sustainable energy projects, while at the same time facilitating trade and investment in supporting technologies, products and services.

In order to deliver the sustainable energy investment services and applications required, APEC-CPI is seeking information from relevant stakeholder groups in each participating APEC economy. A very short survey has been produced to collect this information to encourage many responses.

This information will be used to: (a) Identify potential partners for helping to deliver APEC-CPI sustainable energy investment services & applications; and, (b) Identify potential customers that can use and help improve and customize the various services and applications that will be provided.

Extra copies of this survey can be obtained from, and completed copies should be sent to:
