Secretary – Minutes read motion to accept Jeremy Goldizen, second Jonathon Light.
President – It was great to see the place packed tonight with 95 cars in the parking lot and 200 people in the park. This is the number one gathering place in the neighborhood. Jaime the fields look great.
VP- We are still looking for a VP of Fundraising. The kickball tournament is June 7th, we still need teams. I had an idea that the coaches would ump the games so we would not need to pay for umpires. We still need to fill out the form to sell beer. Kid Glove- all of the teams have used their money from last year. Tickets are selling well this year. We need to pick a date to sell the discount cards.
Treasurer – $14,617, all bills are paid, does not include spring sports totals $12,000-$14,000. Fence was paid $2,850. We are getting checks from some districts for soccer team treats, really don’t like, we should tell CCSA that all teams have to do this or none of them. $2,000 for pads on the soccer goals. $900 for half of the scoreboard in the gym. We need to make sure everyone one the fields have paid; this is up to the reps to keep track of. Motion to accept Jeremy Goldizen, second Michael Amiott
Baseball – All players have paid. We have a D-JR tournament, also still looking at having a D-instructional tournament also.
Softball – We have 50 signed up for softball but not everyone is accounted for, Speeg is good, Carver is good, Tball is missing two, Goldizen is good Bush has 7 not signed up, most of them are out of district kids. Need copies of zero tolerance contracts by tournaments.
Soccer – We have U9 spring tournament May 17-18. Issues with older refs not being able to work larger fields. We have one refund for one u10 player. 1 player playing that has not paid. Jayden Sims is playing but not on roster, needs to pay. Soccer fundraiser, a 3v3, we would need more goals, borrow or rent them. I am looking at getting uniform quotes, Jessica maybe taking over Bulldawg printing and would like to give a quote. U10 fields are a mess and unplayable. Interest in putting a retention pond behind haunted woods and putting in a U14 field. There has been a few times concession has not been opened for Sunday games.
Cheerleading – Nothing to report.
Basketball –Old gym floor looks awful, what else can we invest to insure we keep our gym time. Investigate what other places have to pay for gym time. Basketball brings in about $5000 so lets plan for the next meeting what we can invest.
Wrestling – Nothing to report.
Concession – Everything going well. One night we had a $600 deposit. Some are struggling with the cash register but after the first year it should run smoothly.
Field Scheduler – Schedule is going great, I am making changes as soon as I get them. Maybe need a place for umpires names under the games.
Field report – Thanks Brandon and Jeff for helping with the fields. I mowed the front last week but the back too wet.
Old Business – Batting cages, we are hitting and it is working great. We need to run conduit for the switch $350 and we could use a hopper.
Soccer pads $2000 12 – 6ft and 8 – 7ft vinyl uv resistant blue pads, decide by August, we could have a tournament to pay for them.
Drag – don’t think we should buy the one we are renting but we need something, Chain hero with hook $600-$700, Tealtown/Milford/Expressway use them to maintain their fields. Field 4 looks great. Nail drag because you can pull behind mower??
