Activities of Renates group at Europrevent Rome 2013, contribution of Eero at world congress south Africa 2013

During the AEPC in London a very successful session (Sports and rhythm) was organized, and scientific work on this topic has to be continued.

AEPC Helsinki 2014 will provide at least one own session of the working group prevention. Until end of September, proposals are necessary. A teching session for iunior members could be “ Everything you want to know about hypertension”.

Studies of the group: Peter Fritsch plans to send his questionnaire to all AEPC members. Eero as new president of AEPC will help organizing the addresses.

Another urgent topic might be the development of recommendations of pulse oxymetry in neonates. This should also start with a survey on the routine use, which has to be separated from the preparticipation in sports questionnaire. Peter will arrange the details with Eero.

The 2013 meeting of the group will be in Graz; Peter and Doris will prepare the locations.
