Job Description – Row House – Studio Manager

Row House is a boutique fitness studio offering the industry a valuable rowing based fitness regimen.

We are actively looking for GREAT people to join our Growing team – this is an exciting opportunity for the right person to get in on the ground floor with our team and to get to know the business and help us launch our next studio in Chelsea. Job Responsibilities:

-  Cultivate a high level of customer service, handling any issues in a timely manner and always letting each customer feel happy about their experience

-  Lead the front desk team team, ensuring all of the following is handled with perfection:

·  Facility is completely staffed for all class hours

·  Phone and email inquiries are handled quickly

·  World Class customer experience

·  Revenue and Client Accounts are maximized

·  Recruit additional staff as needed

-  Manage all facility responsibilities

·  Ensuring that facility cleanliness and orderliness is maintained

·  Coordinate and keep track of facility-based contracts, including lease, garbage pickup, and any other vendors

·  Ensure all equipment is functional and repair any broken equipment

-  Manage the budget, supply ordering and staff scheduling

-  Supervise the studio’s retail operations and inventory and work with retail inventory team to provide feedback

-  Generate prospects and introduce new people to Row House through community outreach and special events

-  Develop amazing community relationships

-  Help ensure all classes are taught to Row House standards and coach schedule is optimized

Job Requirements:

-  Customer Service Experience at least 2 years – Hospitality, Retail, or Fitness Preferred

-  Strong leadership experience and a passion for customer service

-  Love of Fitness a must - Rowing passion a STRONG plus

-  Social media guru (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)

-  Fantastic communication skills – set clear expectations to front desk, maintenance and instructions and able to deliver feedback.

-  Mind Body Online Experience Required – must have strong math and analytical skills

-  Flexibility in schedule for morning and evening shifts as well as weekend

-  Understanding of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office

-  Mailchimp and email marketing experience a plus

-  Passion for having fun daily and making every customer excited to get on that rower!

-  All start athlete – can pick up any necessary task and run with it!
