Visiting the Giving Paracetamol node reduces the Pain counter by 10
Visiting the Making the bed node increases the Time Counter by 10 minutes

When a counter meets a value or range of values a player can be redirected to a suitable node
When the Pain counter goes above 100 show the Patient in Distress node
If the Time counter is greater than 60 show the Ambulance Arrives node
….
Feedback - type 1 – immediate, during play
This can be authored directly into a node e.g. player selects an option which takes them to a node which displays text giving direct feedback on the option selected.
Feedback - type 2 – summative, case review
On reaching the end of a case feedback text can be specified against a series of case attributes
Generic feedback on whole case regardless of players actions
Counter value e.g. blood pressure > 180 “this caused Hypertensive Crisis”
Node visit tracking
You went to the give them aspirin node” node which lead to X happening
You did not go to the “wash your hands” node which lead to Y happening
Time tracking – you sent 100 minutes on the task which lead to Z happening
Data Item Requests – you did not check Blood Pressure and should have
Feedback - type 3 – replay (coming soon)
The ability to for a player to replay the case seeing their choices at each node, what percentage of users took each choice and see author annotations on the choices e.g. “you should be thinking about X when making this choice
