Future Nation Launchpad (FNLP)was founded in 2013 and was acquired by the Future Nation Schools group in 2016.FNLP has preschool sites both on main Future Nation campuses (Grade R – 12) and feeder preschools around main campuses. The model was developed by a passionate parent whose aim was to offer a preschool education aligned with global standards whilst teaching children a 2nd language.
The education model is a multilingual Montessori approach and children are taught the full Montessori curriculum in their language of choice (currently those are Zulu & Mandarin). We focus on whole-child development and so offer gross motor skills development, character building & design thinking as part of our curriculum. Teachers are trained on these skills during an upfront induction process and ongoing Professional Development.
FNLP sites are supported by a central admin office which takes care of invoicing, debtors & creditors control, procurement, HR management (beyond the day-to-day), marketing, facilities management and IT support.
Job Description
If you are a trained Montessori teacher, we’re looking for you! Future Nation Launchpad is hiring teachers who either have a 3 – 6 or toddler Montessori qualification. We are ideally looking for bilingual candidates who speak Mandarin or Zulu, but are also hiring English teachers. 2+ years experience in a Montessori classroom. Job Requirements
  • SAQA accredited (or globally recognised) Montessori qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in Montessori environment
  • Willingness to adapt to the Future Nation Launchpad Montessori model
  • A passion for children’s growth and development

Compensation
We offer a salary commensurate with relevant qualifications and experience. Package includes retirement and medical aid contributions.
