GENERAL INFORMATION

  • This competition is governed by the rules of the Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing and sanctioned by the OBHD (SA).
  • The decisions of the Judges are final and no correspondence or communication may be entered in this regard between Parents/Teachers/Competitors and Judges.
  • Dancers age shall be at 15th July 2017
  • SOBHD 2017 Championship steps must be danced for the Championship.
  • Any change in grading after completion of this entry form must be immediately communicated to the Organiser.
  • The Organisers are not responsible for any injuries, or loss incurred on the day of the competition.
  • The Convenor reserves the right to cancel/combine age groups per entries received as per SOBHD rules. If this should apply to any Championship age group, Dancers/Teachers will be notified.
  • By entering this competition, you are agreeing, that you are happy to be photographed and/or filmed, and that the pictures and/or footage may be used by the competition in a DVD, website, programme, or any other promotional material.
  • Trophies won at the 2016competition must be returned no later than 26th June 2017. Trophies not returned to the Organiser by due date may incur a R25.00 p/trophy, p/week, penalty and NO entries will be accepted from dancers who have not returned their trophies.
