First Kernow Bus Information

In PENZANCE on Saturday 24th June there will be road closures for Mazey Day celebrations.

The main route through town will be closed from early morning until around 7pm.

Buses will operate diversions away from the closed route and will not be able to serve the Town Centre stops in Market Jew Street (near Boots) and the Greenmarket.

Please use the Bus Station wherever possible. All buses will operate to and from the Bus Station as normal.

The Lands End service A1 will operate across Ross Bridge and will not be able to serve stops in Alverton Road and Alexandra Road but will serve from Wherrytown onwards.

Service 5 will also operate across Ross Bridge and will not be able to serve stops in Alverton Road but will serve from the YMCA onwards.

Services M6 and 11 will divert via back roads to the North of the closure.
M6 will serve stops from Bellair onwards.
Service 11 will not be able to serve the hospital and St Clares.

Buses to and from the east of town via Chyandour Cliff will not be affected by the closure but may be subject to a short delay during the processions.
