Sub: ‘Science ExpressClimate Action Special’ Exhibition Train

Dear Sir/Madam,

Science ExpressClimate Action Special (SECAS) is a collaborative initiative of Department of Science & Technology (DST); Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEFCC) and Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India, coordinated by Vikram A Sarabhai Community Science Centre (VASCSC). It is a unique science exhibition focusing on climate change, mounted on a customized 16 coach AC train.

With over 1.39crore visitors at its 419 halts since its launch in October 2007, Science Express is now the largest, longest running and most visited mobile science exhibition. In its current phase from 15 Oct 2015 to 07 May 2016, SECAS will travel to 64 locations across India. The state-of-the-art exhibition aboard the SECAS aims to create awareness about the climate change and similar issues among students, teachers and the general public.
