STYLE AG-5164 CLOSED CELL
ECH (EPICHLOROHYDRIN) SPONGE
Description: Style AG-5164 closed cell Epichlorohydrin (ECH) sponge is an excellent gasket material for applications that require exceptional resistance to chemicals and oil. ECH can be used in demanding gasketing applications that require a sealing material that can perform in temperatures as low as -40 °F to as high as +300 °F. This material is classified as 2B3 under ASTM D 1056-07 and has a “pass” flammability rating under FMVSS-302.
Style AG-5164 closed cell Epichlorohydrin (ECH) is a medium density material and can also be supplied in a soft density (AG-5162), in a soft-medium density (AG-5163) and in a firm density (AG-5166). All of our closed cell Epicholorhydrin (ECH) sponge materials can be die cut or waterjet cut to your exact dimensional requirements or slit to width as wide as 48” and as narrow as ¼”. These materials can also be supplied with an adhesive backing on one or both sides
