PARISH NURSE HOURS: I am available from 10:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. every other Sunday (plus during the coffee hour to discuss any health concerns). Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. you can contact me in the office directly across from Pat’s office. Julie Whittard and I will begin to conduct an ongoing environmental study to enhance infection prevention (hand hygiene is the single most important infection prevention and control practice) and identify any potential problems with regards to health & safety. With that in mind I am asking you to assist us in this vital endeavour and if you notice anything that needs to be addressed, write a brief note and place it either in Julie’s or my own mail slot. I will resume writing articles for our monthly Christ’s Caring Communicator. If there is any topic on interest (R.N. appropriate) that you would like for me to cover – again leave a note in my mail slot. I feel that we can all benefit from supporting and encouraging each other. Know that I am available and can telephone or visit at your home at a mutually convenient time – just call 1-905-957-7748 and leave a message and I will get back to you.
