The teleconference meeting started at 11:00 am EDT.
The agenda was approved unanimously.
All attendees were aware of the IEEE patent policy.
The minutes of the previous conference call were briefly reviewed. There were no comments on the minutes of the previous conference call and they were approved by unanimous consent.
The first section and second sections of document: 22-07-0275-02-0000-CPE_Local_Intelligence.doc were reviewed.
Some minor editorial changes were made to the first paragraph of section 2 of 22-07-0275-02-0000-CPE_Local_Intelligence.doc and a new revision 22-07-0275-03-0000-CPE_Local_Intelligence.doc was created. (Changes were accepted in the first part of the document, up to the beginning of section 3, to make the document somewhat more readable, but some “square brackets” remain, indicating that the first part of the document is not fully refined and agreed.)
It was discussed that the narrative nature of the text in this document is informative, but that normative text and flowchart(s) of the behaviors described by each section will need to be produced. Gerald agreed to attempt to get a start on the flowchart(s) in preparation for next week’s conference call.
All participants – and all 802.22 participants – are asked to further discuss 22-07-0275-03-0000-CPE_Local_Intelligence.doc via the reflector and to send any proposed text changes/additions to Carl by no later than COB (US EDT) on Friday, August 24, in preparation for next week’s call.
The next call for the Spectrum Manager ad hoc group will be at 8:00 pm EDT on Monday, August 27, 2007. A meeting invitation will be sent ASAP.
