Well . . . . . SPRING HAS SPRUNG ! ! ! !
If you read this before or on Sunday, I hope you have a Happy Easter. If you read this after Sunday, then I hope you had a Happy Easter.
Coming up very quickly is our April meeting/Tour, THIS THURSDAY, April 9th. And Caryn Simons is on a Spring Break ( I can't blame her for that! ) So for this month's tour, Donna Parsons has agreed to be our point of contact. Please call or email her by Tuesday afternoon if you can attend (& get .3 free ru's!).
Please excuse my nagging, but I don't want to leave out fellow Mansfield ASQ members on my email distribution. So if you know of any of our members who are not getting this newsletter, please email me with their name & email address or ask them to email me with their e-address. And on a similar note, if any of you are aware of any local Quality job opportunities, feel share that info with me so that I can include it in the newsletter. Biography: As an economic alternative to die-cutting, stamping, machining or drilling come to MANSFIELD GRAPHICS for Photo Chemical Machining!
Originating as a printing shop in 1927, to be successful you had to buy or make your engraved printing plates. MANSFIELD GRAPHICS chose to make their own chemically etched engraving plates, which is the basis for the Company as it is structured today. Located in North Central Ohio, between Cleveland and Columbus, in an area of abundant power, water and labor, MANSFIELD GRAPHICS was one of the very first firms providing chemically milled parts having started over thirty years ago. On a MORE exciting note please clear your calendar for yet another ASQ Mansfield Section 0811 tour of a manufacturing facility in Mansfield, Ohio known as Mansfield Graphics.
The facility specializes in Photo Chemical Machining (PCM) or chemical etching is the more well-known terminology.
Please call in your reservation so we’ll know how many to expect so the facility can be prepared for our particular size of group for the tour!
As the "school year" is coming to close for yet another term, also please start thinking of any projects or programs someone would want to share for next year’s schedule!

9.) NOPA stands for the Northcentral Ohio Personnel Association. It has about 135 members
from Ashland / Richland and surrounding counties. NOPA is an affiliate chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management.
They meet at the Westbrook Country Club and begin at 11:30 am and end around 1:00 pm. The cost is $10 for NOPA members and $12 for guests.
