Entry for the Triathlon will be £15 per individual competitor and an additional £5 for laser shooting training in the morning if you need to gain your level 1 shooting certificate.
The Triathlon competition will comprise of swim and laser-run. It is open to open to athletes wishing to gain valuable competition experience as well as being an introduction into Modern Pentathlon style events.
All athletes must have reached the standard required of at least the Laser Shooting Certificate or Level 1 Shooting Certificate which must be lodged with Head Office prior to the competition. Or gained on the day during the morning training session. The level 1 shooting certificate can be downloaded from the Pentathlon GB website: http://www.pentathlongb.org/resources/form then select ‘Shooting certificate – Laser’.
Equipment: you will need to bring your swimming and running kit as well as a warm tracksuit. Laser Pistols will be provided for those who don’t own one.
All athletes must be full members of Pentathlon GB. If you are not currently a member, please visit www.pentathlongb.org and register online via the ‘Join Us’ tab at the top of the home page.
