Contingency plan for inter-school sports competition

Adverse Weather Arrangements
  1. In the event of adverse weather on the first competition day (5 July), i.e. typhoon signals No. 3 or above, red or black rainstorm warning signal being hoisted at or after 7 am, the school will contact the teachers and team managers of each school. All events on the first (5 July) and second competition days (6 July) will be postponed to the second competition day (6 July) and third competition day (7 July) respectively.
  2. In the event of adverse weather on the first and second competition daysas described in (1) above, all events will be postponed to 7/7 and 9/7. If the weather on 7/7 and 9/7 is still not suitable for competition, all the events will be cancelled.
  3. In case of rain or the amber rainstorm warning signal being hoisted, the event will be held as normal. The team managers are requested to remind their students and coaches to pay special attention to the arrangements for bad weather conditions.. * For some events, the competition system may be altered.
