Known all men by these presents that we (Importer Name and address). hereinafter called the importers (which expression shall include its successor/heirs, executors, administrations and legal representatives) are held and firmly bound unto The President of India, hereinafter called the “President’ (which expression shall include his successors and assigns) in sum of Rs. /- (Rupees ) To be paid to the President for which payment well and truly made, we bind ourselves, our successors, heirs, executors, administrators and legal repetitive firmly by these presents.

The Assistant Commissioner of Customs (hereinafter called ‘Proper Office’ has agreed to allow clearance under Notification No.158/95 dt 14.11.95 at Nil rate of duty for the Goods described in the schedule below imported by the-imported by the importer with the conditions set below and the proper office has agreed to allow clearance of the goods subject to the importers proving to the satisfaction of also upon undertaking to re-export cargo after repair, if required within stipulated time of six months. The documents produced by the importer is valid for and covers the entire goods mentioned in the schedule below and upon the importer agreeing to furnish such bond as in herein contained.

NOT THE CONDITIONS OF THE ABOVE WRITTEN BOND IS SUCH THAT:-

1)The goods re-imported as mentioned in the schedule are for inspection and repairing, if required

2)Goods will be re-exported within six months of the date of reimportation or such extended period not exceeding a further period of six months as the commissioner of customs may allow, and

3)The Assistant Commissioner of Customs is satisfied as regards identify of the goods.

AND IT IS HEREBY AGREED AND DECLARED BY THE IMPORTER AS FOLLOWS:-

1)This bond is given under the order of Central Government for the performance of an act in wich the public are interested.

2)The President through the Assistant Commissioner of Customs or other officer may recover the said sum of Rs. /- (Rupees only) In manner laid down in sub-section (1) 142 of the Customs Act 1962 without prejudice to any other mode of recovery.
