Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Let your heart be light
Next year
All our troubles will be out of sight
Have yourself a merry little Christmas
Make the Yuletide gay
Next year
All our troubles will be miles away.
Once again as in olden days
Happy golden days of yore
Faithful friends who were dear to us
Will be near to us once more.
Someday soon we all will be together
If the fates allow
Until then we'll have to muddle through somehow
So have yourself a merry little Christmas now.
( break )
Once again as in olden days
Happy golden days of yore
Faithful friends who were dear to us
Will be near to us once more.
Someday soon we all will be together
If the fates allow
Until then we'll have to muddle through somehow
So have yourself a me" little Christmas now.
4) SAVIOUR'S DAY
Now we have been through the harvest
Winter has truly begun
Now we have walked in the chill of the night
We are waiting for, waiting for
For the Saviour's day
Many have come from the valleys
Many have come from the hills
Many have started their journey home
To be with someone, with someone
On the Saviour's day.
Open your eyes on Saviour's day
Don't look back or turn away
Life can be yours if only you'll stay
He is calling you, calling you
On the Saviour's day
Joining the old and the young ones
Joining the black and white
Meeting the need of the hungry is he
Will we ever remember him
On the Saviour's day
Open your eyes on Saviour's day
Don't look back or turn away
Life can be yours if only you'll stay
He is calling you, calling you
On the Saviour's day
( break )
Here's to the God of the present
Here's to the God of the past
Here's to the hope in the future he brings
We will sing to him, sing to him
On the Saviour's day
Open your eyes on Saviour's day
Don't look back or turn away
Life can be yours if only you'll stay
He is calling you, calling you
On the Saviour's day
On the Saviour's day
5) GOD REST YE MERRY GENTLEMEN
God rest ye merry gentlemen
Let nothing you dismay
For Jesus Christ our Saviour
Was born on Christmas day
To save us all from Satan's power
When we were gone astray
O tidings of comfort and joy
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
The shepherds at those tidings
Rejoiced much in mind
And left their flocks a feeding
In the tempest storm and wind
And went to Bethlehem straightway
This blessed babe to find
O tidings of comfort and joy
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
( break )
But when to Bethlehem they came
Whereat this infant lay
They found him in a manger
Where oxen feed on hay
His mother Mary Kneeling
Unto the lord did pray
O tidings of comfort and joy
Comfort and joy
O tidings of comfort and joy
6) FROSTY THE SNOWMAN
Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul
With a corn cob pipe and a button nose
And two eyes made out of coal
Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale they say
He was made of snow but the children know
How he came to life one day
There must have been some magic
In that old silk hat they found
For when they placed it on his head
He began to dance around
Oh Frosty the snowman was alive as he could be
And the children say he could laugh and play
Just the same as you and me.
( break )
Frosty the snowman knew the sun was hot that day
So he said "let's run and we'll have some fun
Now before I melt away"
Down to the village with a broomstick in his hand
Running here and there all around the square
Sayin "Catch me if you can"
He led them down the streets of town
Right to the traffic cop
And he only paused a moment
When he heard him holler "stop"
For Frosty the snowman
Had to hurry on his way
But he waved goodbye sayin'
"Don't you cry, I'll be back again someday
I'll be back again someday".
7) GOOD KING WENCESLAS
Good King Wenceslas look’d out
On the feast of Steven
When the snow lay round about
Deep and crisp and even
Brightly shone the moon that night
Though the frost was cruel
When a poor man came in sight
Gath'ring winter fuel.
Hither page and stand by me
If thou knowst it, telling
Yonder peasant, who is he
Where and what his dwelling
Sire he lives a good league hence
Underneath the mountain
Right against the forest fence
By Saint Agnes' fountain.
Good King Wenceslas look'd out
On the feast of Steven
When the snow lay round about
Deep and crisp and even
Brightly shone the moon that night
Though the frost was cruel
When a poor man came in sight
Gath'ring winter fuel.
8) LAST CHRISTMAS
Last Christmas I gave you my heart
But the very next day
You gave it away
This year to save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special.
Last Christmas I gave you my heart
But the very next day
You gave it away
This year to save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special.
( break )
Once bitten and twice shy
I keep my distance
But just don't catch my eye
Tell me baby do you recognise me
Well it's been a year
It doesn't surprise me
Last Christmas I wrapped it up and sent it
With a note saying I love you I meant it
Now I know what a foot I've been
But if you kissed me now, I know you'd fool me again.
Last Christmas I gave you my heart
But the very next day
You gave it away
This year to save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special.
Last Christmas I gave you my heart
But the very next day
You gave it away
This year to save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special.
( break )
Crowded room, friends with tired eyes
Hiding from you and you're so revived
My God I thought you were someone to rely on
Me I guess I was a shoulder to cry on.
A face on a lover with a fire in his heart
A man with a cover she tore him apart
Oo oo
Now I've found a real love
You'll never fool me again
Last Christmas I gave you my heart
But the very next day
You gave it away
This year to save me from tears
I'll give it to someone special.
9) WE THREE KINGS
We three kings of Orient are,
Bearing gifts we traverse afar,
Field and fountain,
Moor and mountain
Following yonder star.
O star of wonder, star of night
Star with royal beauty bright
Westward leading, still proceeding
Guide us to thy perfect light.
Born a King on Bethlehem's plain
Gold I bring to crown him again
King forever ceasing never
Over us all to reign.
0 star of wonder, star of night
Star with royal beauty bright
Westward leading, still proceeding
Guide us to thy perfect light.
Frankincense to offer I have
Incense owns a deity nigh
Prayer and praising, all men raising
Worship him, God most high.
O star of wonder, star of night
Star with royal beauty bright
Westward leading, still proceeding
Guide us to thy perfect light.
Myrrh is mine, it's bitter perfume
Breathe a life of gathering gloom
Sorrowing, sighing, bleeding, dying
Sealed in the stone-cold tomb.
0 star of wonder, star of night
Star with royal beauty bright
Westward leading, still proceeding
Guide us to thy perfect light.
10) SILENT NIGHT
Silent night, Holy night,
All is calm, all is bright,
Round yon virgin mother and child,
Holy infant so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace,
Sleep in heavenly peace.
Silent night, Holy night,
Shepherd’s quake at the sight,
Glories stream from heaven afar,
Heavenly hosts sing alleluia,
Christ the saviour is born
Christ the saviour is born
( break )
Silent night, Holy night,
Son of God, loves pure light,
Radiant beams from thy holy face,
With the dawn of redeeming grace.
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth,
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth.
11) MERRY XMAS EVERYBODY
Are you hanging up a stocking on your wall ?
It's the time that every Santa has a ball
Does he ride a red nose reindeer ?
Does a "ton up" on his sleigh
Do the fairies keep him sober for a day ?
So here it is Merry Xmas,
Everybody's having fun,
Look to the future now
It's only just begun.
Are you waiting for the family to arrive ?
Are you sure you got the room to spare inside ?
Does your Granny always tell ya
That the old songs are the best ?
That she's up rock 'n' rolling with the best.
So here it is Merry Xmas,
Everybody's having fun,
Look to the future now
It's only just begun.
( break )
Are you hanging up a stocking on your wall ?
Are you hoping that the snow will start to fall ?
Do you ride on down the hillside.
In a buggy you have made ?
When you land upon your head then you bin slayed.
So here it is Merry Xmas.
Everybody's having fun,
Look to the future now
It's only just begun.
12) MISTLETOE AND WINE
The child is a King
The carollers sing
The old is passed
There's a new beginning
Dreams of Santa
Dreams of snow
Fingers numb
Faces a glow
It's Christmas time
Mistletoe and wine
Children singing
Christian rhyme
With logs on the fire
And gifts on the tree
A time to rejoice in the good that we see
A time for living
A time for believing
A time for trusting
No deceiving
Love and laughter
And joy ever after
Ours for the taking
Just follow the master
It's Christmas time
Mistletoe and wine
Children singing
Christian rhyme
With logs on the fire
And gifts on the tree
A time to rejoice in the good that we see
It's Christmas time
Mistletoe and wine
Children singing
Christian rhyme
With logs on the fire
And gifts on the tree
A time to rejoice in the good that we see
It's a time for giving
A time for forgetting
A time for forgiving
And for forgetting
Christmas is love
Christmas is peace
A time for hating
And fighting to cease
It's Christmas time
Mistletoe and wine
Children singing
Christian rhyme
With logs on the fire
And gifts on the tree
A time to rejoice in the good that we see
13 WHEN A CHILD IS BORN
A ray of hope flickers in the sky,
A tiny star lights up way up high.
All across the land dawns a brand new morn'.
This comes to pass, when a child is born.
A silent wish sails the seven seas,
The winds of change whisper in the trees,
And the walls of doubt crumble tossed and torn,
This comes to pass, when a child is born.
A rosy dawn settles all around,
You got the feel you're on solid ground.
For a spell or two, no one seems forlorn,
This comes to pass, when a child is born.
(spoken verse)
It’s all a dream an illusion now
It must come true sometime soon somehow
All across the land dawns a brand new morn
This comes to pass, when a child is born.
This comes to pass, when a child is born.
14) JINGLE BELLS
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way.
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh.
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way.
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh.
Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh.
O'er the fields, we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bob tail ring
Making spirits bright,
What fun it is to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way.
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh.
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way.
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh.
Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh.
O'er the fields, we go
Laughing ail the way
Bells on bob tail ring
Making spirits bright,
What fun it is to ride and sing
A sleighing song tonight
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way.
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh.
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
Jingle all the way
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh.
(break)

Jingle all the way.
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh.
Jingle bells, jingle bells.
Jingle all the way.
Oh what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh.
15) SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN
You better watch out,
You better not cry,
Better not pout,
I'm telling you why,
Santa Claus is coming to town.
He's making a list,
Checking it twice,
Going to find out who's naughty and nice
Santa Claus is coming to town.
He sees you when you’re sleeping,
He knows when you’re awake.
He knows if you’ve been bad or good,
So be good for goodness sake.
You better watch out.
You better not cry,
Better not pout,
I'm telling you why,
Santa Claus is coming to town.

16) MARY'S BOY CHILD
Long time ago in Bethlehem,
So the holy Bible say,
Mary's boy child, Jesus Christ,
Was born on Christmas Day.
Hark now hear the angels sing,
A new King born today,
And man will live for evermore,
Because of Christmas Day.
Trumpets sound and angels sing,
Listen to what they say,
That man will live for evermore,
Because of Christmas Day.
While shepherds watched their flocks by night,
Them see a bright new shining star
Them hear a choir sing,
The music seemed to come from afar
Hark now hear the angels sing,
A new King born today,
And man will live for evermore,
Because of Christmas Day.
Trumpets sound and angels sing,
Listen to what they say,
That man will live for evermore.
Because of Christmas Day.
Now Joseph and his wife, Mary,
Came to Bethlehem that night.
Them find no place to born the child
Not a single room was in sight.
Hark now hear the angels sing,
A new King born today,
And man will live for evermore,
Because of Christmas Day.
Trumpets sound and angels sing,
Listen to what they say,
That man will live for evermore,
Because of Christmas Day.
Long time ago in Bethlehem,
So the holy Bible say,
Mary's boy child, Jesus Christ.
Was born on Christmas Day.
17) I WISH IT COULD BE CHRISTMAS EVERYDAY
Oh when the snowman brings the snow,
Oh well I just might like to know,
He's brought a great big smile upon somebody's face,
If you jump into your bed,
Quickly cover up your head,
Don't lock your doors,
You know that sweet Santa Claus is on his way.
Oh well I wish it could be Christmas everyday,
Oh when the kids start singing
And the band begins to play
Oh I wish it could be Christmas everyday,
Let the bells ring out for Christmas.
Oh when we're skating in the park.
Let the snowplough paint it dark.
Then your rosy cheeks come light my merry way,
Now the frosticles appear,
And they frozen up my ear,
So we'll light by the fire,
Till the heat simply melts it all away.
Oh well I wish it could be Christmas everyday,
Oh when the kids start singing
And the band begins to play
Oh I wish it could be Christmas everyday,
Let the bells ring out for Christmas.
( break )
Oh when the snowman brings the snow,
Oh well I just might like to know,
He's brought a great big smile upon somebody's face.
So when Santa brings that sleigh,
All along the Milky Way,
So the name of Rudolph in the snow,
Then he may decide to stay.
Oh I wish it could be Christmas everyday,
Oh when the kids start singing
And the band begins to play
Oh I wish it could be Christmas everyday,
Let the bells ring out for Christmas.
Oh I wish it could be Christmas everyday,
Oh when the kids start singing
And the band begins to play
Oh I wish it could be Christmas everyday,
Let the bells ring out for Christmas.
