HELPING SHARING, AND GIVING.

God cares for the poor. God cares for us so. He gives us that account to help them so that he can bless us.

God told the Israelites that he is sending them to a land where he will bless them. When they are fat and established houses, gold, silver, flocks and multiply, that their hearts will not be lifted up {in Pride} and they forget Him. It is the Lord who giveth us power to get wealth that he might establish his covenant with us. God gave Abraham wealth and established his covenant with him. The same covenant we are nowpartaking of through Jesus Christ. (Deuteronomy 13 and 18)

Giving is a gift from God. So when we give to others. We must not look down on others of being less than ourselves because it is the will of God that we help others that he might bless us. Our God is compassionate that’s why he gave us his only begotten Son that we might have everlasting life.

If a man is strong and healthy and refuses to workand tries to leach off others, he should not eat {that’s Demon at work}

By helping those among us that don’t have, we are actually giving to Jesus.

Moses told the people the Lord’s Law in {Deuteronomy 15:7} thatthey should be generous to the poor. They should not harden theirhearts nor shut their hand from their poor brother but they shall open their hands wide unto him and willingly lend him sufficient for his needs.’ Vs 9 “Bewarelest there be a wicked thought in your heart, saying “The seventh year of release is at hand; and your eye be evil against your poor brother and you give him nothing and he cry out to the Lord against you and it became sin among you.” You shall surely give to him freely and not grudgingly and the Lord thy God shall bless you. {Deuteronomy 15:10}God promised to bless them if they obeyed his words

It is the duty of the church to help the poor brothers and sisters who worship among us.

JUDGMENT OF THE GENTILES

Matthew 25:31 says, When the son of man comes in His Glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of his glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him. And He will separate them one from another as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand but the goats on the left. Then the king will say to those on His right hand Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in, I was naked and you clothe Me; I was sick and you visited Me I was in prison and you came to Me.

When we give to help another disciple of Christ, it is almost the same as if Jesus were helping them.

It is also the same as if we were feeding Jesus, this is how Jesus sees it. Those {Christians} that turn their eyes from helpingthe poor will gather with the goats to everlasting Judgment and torment. Then the king will answer them, saying assuredly I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me. {46} and these will go away into everlasting punishment but the righteous into eternal life. {Matthew 25:45} As you treat people so you treat God.

The overworking of Love

{1st John 3:16} Jesus Christ laid down his life for us so we also ought to lay down our lives for our brethren. “But whoever has his world’s of goods and see his brother in need, and shut s up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him.” The bible says we must not love in words and in tongues but in deeds and in truth. By this we know we are of the truth.”

King David knows what it is like to consider the poor because he said in Psalm 41

Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.

Psa41:2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.

Psa41:3 The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness {the poor means the blind the sick and the lame.}

In 1st Samuel 30-22the Amalekites took Ziklag, wives, children, boys and girls and also King David’s two wives, Ahinoam of Jezireelanthed Abigail the wife of Nabol. They also took the wives and children of other men, the people wanted to stone David but he found strength in the Lord. David went and took the wives and children fromZiklag and none was lost (killed). David plunders them and took of their spoils. David shared the spoils with all his brethren even in different cities but the wicked men of Belial {worthless men} were angry not seeing the need for David wanting to share with those who did not went to fight with them. When we keep everything that God gives us for ourselves alone and refuse to share with others less fortunate, the bible calls it wicked. {1st Samuel 30:22}

In the book of Ezekiel 17 “ The soul that sinneth it shall die.

The fathers hath eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge was evidently a well-known proverb (Jeremiah 31:29) God said in this particular case this proverbs in Israel is refuted and will no longer be used. The soul that sinneth it shall die, because all souls belong to God. Children are affected by their parent’sbehavioral choices, eating sour grapes leaves a bitter after effect taste. They were using this proverb incorrectly; God corrective teaching {although the iniquity goes to the 3rd and fourth generation in Exodus 20} but this particular proverb the people thought they were being punished for their father’s sin. A righteous man will not suffer for his father’s sin. If he does not participate in the following sin (1) idolatrous ceremonial meals (2) sexual misconduct (3) mistreatment of the poor (4) theft or (5) usery charging interest on debts owed by fellow Hebrew, and intimacy during the woman’s menstruation was prohibited.

God said a righteous person shall live if he has given his bread to the hungry, and covered the naked with clothing; if he has not exacted usury nor taken any increase;but if he begat sons that disobeyed God’s commandments and is the opposite of the statements, “He shall not live” Ezekiel 18:13

So from the beginning of creation we are our brother’s keeper. A person who sins will die; they will be separated like the sheep and the goat at Jesus coming.

Giving to the church to help the poor brethren

Acts 5: {11:1} AnaniasandSapphira were selfish theysold their property and kept back part of the money because they refused to give towards the poor brethren after they had agreed with the church to give and died immediately been confronted by Peter speaking from the Holy Spirit.

Giving to a righteous man

Helping a righteous man to do the Lord’s work is also a reward. Helping a prophet is a prophet’s reward,

Mat 10:40 Jesus said, “He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

Mat 10:42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of coldwateronly in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.”

The widow woman at Zarephath had a prophet’s reward because she helped Elijah as commanded by God { 1st kings 17:9} by being obedient to the Lord’s commandment she obtained pots of oil (the anointing) and also had her dead son restored back to life. She was on the brinks of poverty and Elijah needed bread, this was a Godly provision for both of them. We see Elijah as a type of Christ to the woman as a rescue by our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. Elijah reminded the woman not to fear, once our lives are orderedby the Lord, we should not fear, the Prophet was sent to her. Jesus is our perfect prophet. That was her prophet’s reward by accepting and believing Elijah. The woman ate for many days and poverty was not her lot.

King David asked Nabal for help

Nabal{A man of Belial} refusedto help King David after David requested help of him so that he could make a feast unto the Lord. God wanted to give Nabal long life but he did not see the spiritual sided to it because he was blinded by worldly pleasures and drunkeness. David is the one who watched his sheep so that he lost none to wild bears and lions just as David protected his own father’s flocks. It is the same as Jesus protecting what we have so we can give back to him by helping others. Nabalhe had a virtuous wife, named Abigail she became David’s wife after Nabaldied. Abigail told himNabal she send items, {raisins, lambs such} to David to help with the feast unto the Lord then he became fainthearted and died.

Paul commended the Philippians church for their Generosity in helping because no other churches communicated{shared} with him {when he ministered at Macedonia{Phil, 4:14} with his needs. Not that he wants anything from them but he is showing gratitude because Paul said he learned to live in any cases he finds himself, he knows how to be “abased and he knows how to be abound”.

“Everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need,” Because he {Paul} can do all things in Christ who strengthens him.

Paul is saying that he is not desiring a gifts from them but he desires that that they may have fruits in their heavenly treasure, “Their gifts to the apostle are a sure investment in the work and treasures of heaven, each one yielding rich dividend.” {Matthew 6:21}For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also

.

“To your account - A phrase taken from commercial dealings. The apostle wished that it might be set down to their credit. He desired that when they came to appear before God, they might reap the benefit of all the acts of kindness which they had shown him.”

Be generous and Do Good to Spiritual teachers

(Galatians 6:6) says “Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches. Do not be deceived. God is not mocked for whatever a man sows that he will also reap. (8) for he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. Let us do good to the house hold of faith.

Jesus said in Mat6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

Mat 6:2 Therefore when thou doestthinealms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Mat 6:3 But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: Don’t tell everyone then we already get our earthly glory.

{Fasting }When we fast according to Isaiah 58:7 it to afflict ourself to beaks yolks, to undo heavy burdens, to remove bands of wickedness and give what we have to the poor and clothes the naked.

The money we save from fasting we should give it to the poor to help them.

And remember to keeping on helping, sharing and caring

{Ecclesiastes11:1} Keep on helping, keep on Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days. One of these methods or many of them working in our live we will find bread of blessings working in our favor.

Ecc11:2 Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.

Ecc11:3 If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.

Ecc11:4 He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap. {there is always a return when the rain falls on the earth. Live in rain of blessings in Jesus precious name.}
