Beta Meeting

Service-

1) Paw Print Store Workers- all slots for January are FULL

2) Basketball Concession stand- middle school home games- all worker positions are FULL- BUT supplies are needed (see attached list)- $5 spent = 1 hour of service- drop off items with Mrs. Key in room 25B- Now until January 10- canned drinks and chips make be sent until Feb. 24

3) Christmas Collection- TODAY- $1 or $2 for our collection- everyone who contributes will receive 1 hour- December 12 only- this will be split among our custodians

4) Coats for Kids- Dec. 12- Jan. 13- gently worn coats- donations will be given to the Salvation Army- 1 to 2 hours per coat- limit 5 hours

5) Project Night Night- January project- assembling overnight bags that include blankets (throw-sized approx. 40 X 50) and stuffed animals (20” or smaller)

Service hour forms are due January 10- turn them in to the Beta Box in the front office- there is one in the 6th grade office and one in the 7th/8th grade office- Service hour celebration will be held in early February- turn your forms in on time in January in order to be eligible for the celebration- you must have at least met your half way goal for the year.

World’s Finest Chocolate Sale- Selling the month of January- 2 service hours for every box you sell- $1 candy bars and $2 almonds- parents must sign a permission slip- handout in your packet

Convention-

Convention information was passed out in the October & November meeting. Please notice the deadlines for registration and down payments- 34 competitions- you must attend the state convention in order to attend the Orlando trip- state convention $165- Parent meeting for the Orlando trip will be scheduled.

Dance-

December 16- Friday-Tickets $7 on sale before school and at the door-

6:00-7:00 6th grade- 7:45-9:15 7th/8th grade- Mini Prom- Dress code applies- Concessions will be sold and there will be a photo booth.
