2017 Vendor Contract

All vendors must register with Amesbury Days, Inc. to sell food or merchandise during an event. Non-permitted vendors who appear on the premises will be asked to leave by a law enforcement official.

Vendor spaces may not exceed 10’ x 10’ in size. If you require additional space, add $75.00 for each space.

*Applications submitted after June 5, 2017 will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis and only cash, certified checks or money orders will be accepted for the fee.

Please note that submission of an application does not guarantee acceptance, and participation in a previous year does not automatically register you for an upcoming year.

All vendors must supply their own tables and pop up tents

By submitting this form, The Vendor (Applicant) understands and agrees:

·  I am over 18 years old and competent to make this agreement

·  I agree that any 10’ x 10’ exhibition space afforded to me at the event is the decision of Amesbury Days and is final.

·  I understand that it is Massachusetts Law that all vendors be properly licensed to vend at an outdoor event, and that the sale of alcoholic beverages of any kind is prohibited.

·  I understand that it is my responsibility to pay directly to the appropriate government agency all applicable taxes on my sales at the event.

·  I understand that I must conduct myself in a civil manner, refraining from the use of intoxicants, inappropriate attire, and misconduct that would violate police regulations and/or generally discredit Amesbury Days.

·  I agree to abide by all parking regulations of the City of Amesbury.

·  I agree that my exhibit will not constitute propaganda of any kind.

·  I agree that my exhibit will not contain or involve gambling of any kind.

·  I agree to arrive no sooner than 2 hours before the start time of the event and that it is my responsibility to dispose of any trash or materials created by my display and commerce activity.

·  I will indemnify and hold harmless from any, and all, liability and claims whatsoever, including reasonable attorney’s fee, Amesbury Days and its officers, contractors and volunteers, as well as the City of Amesbury.

·  I understand that there are no refunds.

·  I agree to pay the appropriate fee of $75 per vending space.

·  I understand that if my application is not accepted, my payment will be returned to me in total.
