Raffle Rule

The Rotary Club of St. Michaels Foundation, Inc.

Prize: 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible or $20,000 Cash

  • Void where prohibited by law.
  • You must be 18 years or older to participate
  • By purchasing a ticket the purchaser agrees to abide by the rules of the raffle.
  • Raffle tickets are $20.00 each or 3 tickets for $50.00
  • There is no limit to the number of tickets one person may purchase.
  • Tickets may be purchased by visiting the club website at
  • Tickets may also be ordered by mail using cash, check, or money order. Make checks or money orders payable to: The Rotary Club of St. Michaels Foundation, Inc.and mail to P.O. Box 394, St. Michaels, MD 21663. Be sure to include your name, address, and phone number.
  • Your purchased tickets will be filled out in your name and placed in the raffle drum. Stubs will be mailed to you.
  • If the entrant’s check or credit card is dishonored by the bank or credit card company, the entrant’s ticket(s) will be voided and not placed in the raffle drawing.
  • Purchaser of the ticket(s) must have his/her name, address, and phone number printed legibly on each ticket stub. If more than one name is listed on the ticket, the first name will considered the entrant.
  • Entrant must retain his/her ticket. In the event of any dispute concerning the winner of the drawing, the entrant will be required to produce his/her raffle ticket.
  • The winner will be determined by random drawing when all tickets have been sold or on October 2019 whichever comes first. Winner need not be present to win.
  • The winner will have the option of selecting the car or $20,000 cash.
  • If not present, the winner will be notified immediately by phone call or if necessary, by registered mail. The winner’s name and winning ticket number will also be posted on the St. Michaels Rotary website.
  • If the prize is not claimed after 30 days, that ticket will be voided and a second will be drawn.
  • The winner is responsible for all delivery, licensing, registration, insurance coverage, income and special taxes. The Rotary Club of St. Michaels Foundation, Inc. will collect 25% of the fair market value of the vehicle for federal income tax withholding at the time the winner accepts the vehicle.
  • The Rotary Club of St. Michaels Foundation, Inc. specifically disclaims all expressed or implied warranties regarding the 1965 Mustang Convertible. Winner accepts the car in “as is” condition.
  • All proceeds, less expenses, benefit the charitable programs supported by the Rotary Club of St. Michaels Foundation.
