Third Sun. of Advent: Today we add the names of Moses, Jesse, David and Isaiah. God sent Moses to set the Israelites free from slavery in Egypt. Jesse was the Father of David. David was appointed by God and anointed by the King of Israel. Isaiah was a prophet. He foretold the coming of the Messiah who would be a descendant of David.
