Regulations

1.  The tournament goals are promotion of sporting Wushu, improvement of Wushu skills, exchange of experience between the athletes of regions of Russia and various countries, selection of the athletes into teams, education of character, promotion of healthy way of life. Attracting children, youngsters and adults to Wushu practice and to participation in competitions being held in St-Petersburg.

4.  Dates:

·  Team arrivals: May 23, 24, 2013

·  Seminar for judges: May 24, 2013

·  Competitions: May 25, 26, 2013

·  Team departures: May 27, 28, 2013

5.  Location: St-Petersburg, Russia.

6.  Preliminary entry forms can be sent immediately after receiving the current regulations, but not later than April 01, 2013.

7.  Final entry forms have to be sent not later than April 28, 2013.

8.  Age categories:

·  Girls up to 7 years (inclusive)

·  Boys up to 7 years (inclusive)

·  Girls up to 8-9 years (inclusive)

·  Boys up to 8-9 years (inclusive)

·  Girls from 10 to 12 years (inclusive)

·  Boys from 10 to 12 years (inclusive)

·  Junior girls from 13 to 16 years (inclusive)

·  Juniors from 13 to 16 years (inclusive)

9.  Competition program:

9.1 Basic Program (all age groups)

1. Barehand forms: Changquan, Nanquan

2. Short weapons: Sword, Broadsword, Nandao

3. Long weapons: Spear, Cudgel, Nangun.

Girls and boys up to 7 years (inclusive), girls and boys 8-9 years perform 2 sections from 32 forms (sanlu chuji) or 2 arbitrary sections from basic routines. Time of performance not monitored.

Girls and boys 10-12 years, junior girls, juniors of all age groups perform complete 32 forms routines (sanlu chuji) or any 4 arbitrary sections from basic routines. Time of performance will not be monitored.

9.2 Traditional Program

Traditional barehand forms:

I group: xingyi, baguazhan, bajiquan.

II group: tunbei, pigua, fanziquan, choziaoquan.

III group: ditanquan, all imitational styles: usuntokaoquan, houquan, inchzhaoquan, tanlanquan, tsuiquan, baihequan.

IV group: shaolinquan, chaquan, huaquan, hunquan, paoquan, traditional nanquans and all other styles those are not included in precedent groups.

Traditional weapons:

I group: single.

II group: double.

III group: flexible

9.3 Fighting sets:

I. Barehand vs. barehand

II.  Weapon vs. weapon

III.  Other

9.4 Group events:

6 persons or more from any age category. Time of performance: not less than 3 min, but not more than 4 min.

10.  Only individual competition takes place under the Rules for International Wushu Taolu Competition, edition of International Wushu Federation, 2007.

11.  Judgment

Chief referee: Eleonora Volokontseva, National grade judge.

Chief secretary: Alexander Ivanov, National grade judge.

The jury is appointed by Chief referee and Chief secretary.

12.  The Panel of Appeal: Eleonora Volokontseva, Alexander Ivanov, Reingold Fatkhullin, Veronika Koneva, Mikhail Gololobov, Nikolay Afanasiev, Olga Yaroslavtseva. The appeal can be submitted not later than 30 min after the end of the appropriate event. The appeal fee – 100 EUR, will be spent for the tournament needs.

13.  The draw-lots are computer-based. Will be performed after all teams will submit the final entry forms. The final schedule of events will be established after the registration meeting.

14.  Winners in individual competition:

The winners will be determined in every age group by the highest score. If there will be 10 and more athletes participating in the event, 6 athletes will be awarded.

1 place: medal, diploma
2 place: medal, diploma
3 place: medal, diploma
from 4 to 6 place: diploma.

If there will be one or two athletes registered for any event, this event will be joined to the other event without any special agreement with the team officials.

15.  Winners in individual all-round:

Sporting all-round events: the sum of scores for 3 sporting events: best of barehand forms, best of short weapons, best of long weapons,

Traditional all-round events: the sum of scores for 2 traditional events: best of traditional barehand forms, best of traditional weapons,

Awarding in all round events:

1 place: medal, diploma.

2 place: medal, diploma.
3 place: medal, diploma.

16.  Registration, entry form:

·  The number of athletes in the team is not limited.

The following information is included into the entry form: athlete’s first and last name, exact date of birth, the stamp of medical permission, the sign of the coach, the sign of the team/organization director, the organization stamp, mail address with zip code, contact tel/fax number, email.

17.  Participation conditions:

·  Participants pay themselves all charges for far distance transportation, accommodation and meals and bring their own equipment.

·  The seminar for judges on competitions rules, edition 2007: May 24, 2013 at 15.30-17.00.

·  The registration meeting will take place on June 01 at 18.30-19.30. Each team must send the representative to the registration meeting to submit the original of the final entry form, pay the participation fees, check and confirm the correctness of the information registered. After the registration meeting, the claims about the registration errors will not be accepted.

·  Day of arrival for athletes: May 23, 24, 2013.
Accommodation: 50 EUR per person per day, breakfast and dinner included.

·  For arranging the local transfer from the airport or railroad terminal, the team must provide the arrival/departure information to the organizing committee not later than May 01, 2013:

18.  The registration fee is 10 EUR for each event.
