Questions to ask when choosing a book:
1.  Does it look interesting? Will I finish this book?
2.  Is it at or near my reading level? (not too difficult and not too easy)
3.  Is it an AR Book? Visit www.arbookfind.com to check.
Parent, if you are concerned about the content of a book, visit an online book review such as www.commonsensemedia.org.

There are so many options! The words “I have nothing to read” should never cross your lips. Remember 20% of your grade is completing AR Tests. Make sure when you select a book that it has an AR Test. You can read other materials and books that are non-AR books, but make sure you take care of your graded AR Tests first.

Is my book an “AR BOOK”?
