How will GPs be informed about the elections?
A letter of invitation to apply to stand for election will be sent out by Tracey Downton of Dudley CCG. This will be accompanied by a recruitment pack.
The Communications Team will ensure that the election process, and the roles of the GP Board member and Board Chair are advertised as widely as possible. The communications channels used are likely to include: an e-mail/post to all practices, an e-mail/post to each doctor on the Dudley performers list, promotion via the Dudley public website, a request to the LMC, Locality meetings and Clinical Forum meetings to promote and a request to Practice Managers to print out materials for all working from the practice.
Who may apply to stand for a role on the CCG Board?
All GPs on the Performers list may apply. Locums are not included in this.
What responsibilities does a Board member hold?

What type of Contract will I be engaged under for my work with the CCG?
Members of the governing body are appointed under statute and will be appointed as Office Holders of the CCG, rather than treated as direct employees.
