Outline: This session will explore starting points for building relationships with local communities, strategies to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into early years programs and provide time for personal action planning.

Bios: Robyn Whiting, Queensland Studies Authority (QSA) leads the development of resources and professional development programs to support Queensland teachers to implement curriculum from Kindergarten to Year 10.

Her colleague, Tania Thomas, a Kamilaroi woman from South West Queensland, is a Senior Project Officer working to support staff and teachers K-12 to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives across curriculum learning areas.
