Warehouse Heroes

The bread and butter of our volunteer program. Every day we receive thousands of pounds of food that need to be sorted and inspected by volunteers. Orders need to be picked. Pallets need to be labeled. A little cleaning would go a long way too! If you plan on coming in on a regular basis, ask us about Food Inspector opportunities.

Office Help

We do have need for assistance in our offices doing all sorts of tasks. There are lots of envelopes for stuffing, donors to thank. Most opportunities will require a little training and a small time commitment. Plus it looks great on a resume!

Cooking Matters Maine

Our latest program needs the assistance of qualified professional chefs and dieticians. There are some opportunities that require fewer credentials as well, if you’re interested in this new and exciting program. More info at: or contact the program director,Courtney Kennedy at 207.577.4847

On occasion we have professional opportunities for students attending college or university or other professionals seeking personal development opportunities. Internships vary and may be available in the summer, one semester, two semesters or for a full year. Check “Volunteer Internships” if you’d like to receive more info on current opportunities.
