Sales on the Rise

The results are in for last quarter. For the third time in the last four quarters, Stellar Systems came in first place for market share amongst all major producers worldwide. This feat occurred despite the relentless and intense price pressure from our many overseas competitors. Special thanks go to the Western Area Sales region, for showing record-breaking unit growth over the same period one year ago. As always, congratulations for a wonderful team effort and a great quarter!

Sales Meeting a Win

This year's annual sales meeting proved a resounding success and good time for all. This year's event, held on the beautiful island of Maui, contributed greatly to team spirit while also giving us all time to relax.

Favorite seminars at this year's meeting including Jim Bialecki’s "Team Selling" seminar, which featured role playing and practice sessions with members of the local business community who fit our target.

New Products this Month

We are expanding our line of brightly colored tools for the home markets where customers traditionally settle for industrial-style tools. Last season's power drills are selling way ahead of projections, so this month we’re rolling out power drivers and shop vacs in consumer colors and shapes.

Winter Promotion Plan

The planning committee has completed extensive research and analysis with all our major channel partners and key suppliers. After close review with the entire sales team executive committee, a firm plan for a Q4 sales promotion has been finalized in record time.

The event offers special incentive to all Level 1 wholesale customers that submit firm sales orders for each of our major product lines before the start of the Holiday selling season on November 20.

Full details of the promotion will be sent in the next update mailing, which you should receive by the first week of November. Check with your local administrator for special forwarding instructions if you plan to be on an road trip that week.

"From Victor's Desk"

2008 Consumer Markets Report

Each year, the Consumer Awareness Group (CAG) commissions an extensive study of products from the major worldwide suppliers. CAG is a non-profit organization that derives its funds from a mixture of philanthropic and government agencies. As we all know by know, this report is the most respected of its kind in our industry.

Performance.

The commission found that under ideal laboratory conditions, some competition exhibited decent performance. However, with real world constraints, Stellar Systems took the cake.

Appearance.

Customers want a product that looks good, especially when compared to the high-fashion goods they buy for their homes. Stellar Systems products "wowed" the everyday consumer.

Variety.

Customers prefer the option to select from many different kinds of tools in many different environments. Only LDC has the manufacturing technology to excel in all types of conditions.

Durability.

No one likes a tool that fails or malfunctions in any way. We at LDC should be proud of our excellent Quality Assurance team for giving us top honors in this important category.

Well, I am pleased to say that, for the third straight year, LDC International rated the highest marks in all major categories analyzed by CAG.

Thanks to everyone in our West Coast Sphere Tech Research and Development Group.

Last Months Company Reorganization

Last month we saw completion of this years world-wide company reorganization. As I explained in last months issue of the Stellar Systems News, the basis for this reorganization was to further improve communications amongst the functional groups.

As a quickly growing company with offices spread across the globe, it is critical for the senior management team to proactively investigate difficult issues such as these on a regular basis. Thanks to everyone for your patience and continued support.

Well, that is about all for now.

Until next month, keep those purchase orders rolling!
