Experience / A broad spectrum of experience working in general radiography
Experience in CT head scanning
Participation in out-of-hours duties, including emergency cover
Comprehensive experience within a IT and/or healthcare environment.
Computer user competent in the use of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and Access
Experienced user of Trust IT systems. / Competent in the use of
CRIS, PACS, SemaHelix, Review/tQuest.
the National IEP system, Tquest, SPINE and Image Exchange Portal (IEP).
Skills / Excellent communication skills - able to communicate with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, patients, GPs, carers - both verbally and in writing.
Able to participate in clinical work in most areas of the dept.
Able to assess how to communicate with people with difficulties
Able to assess patient conditions.
Fault reporting
Responsible for Departmental induction of new staff.
Capable of using PACS and the Radiology Information System
