Workshop
Collaborative Business and Collaborative Commerce

Tuesday, June 17 2003

Dipoli Congress Center, Otakaari 24, 02150 Espoo, Finland during the ICE conference (

The roadmapping studies of the BRIDGES ( and COMPANION ( projects looks at the future of collaborative business with a focus on extended enterprises/products and distributed business processes. Additionally the projects focus on the role of evolving ERP systems in value creating networks. A basic assumption is that for managing, monitoring, or optimising a value network, new collaborative applications are needed to provide functionality such as collaborative planning or project management. The objective of the studies is to investigate how to support distributed business processes enabling digital or collaborative business in value creating networks (extended enterprises).

Both projects are at an advanced stage, and are organising this workshop in order to, firstly, present their results, and secondly, to filter and generate strong research themes for the future of EU research programmes.

If you would like to attend this workshop, please register as Day 2 workshop participant at the ICE 2003 conference (more information on For more information you can also contact Jens Eschenbaecher (). Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
