Mr. Moss’s Absolute Expectations:

1. Integrity above all – do not cheat, lie or disrupt the learning experience of your peers. If your integrity or honor is lost, it is hard to regain it; if you do not squander it, no one can take it away from you.

2. Show up on time and ready to work every day. Bring a single subject college ruled spiral notebook and extra pens and pencils to class every day. Textbooks are to be left at home unless directed otherwise.

3. All assignments are to be handwritten unless directed otherwise. Use pencil or blue/black ink.

4. A reading assignment is a reading assignment, not an exercise in skimming. You must read the textbook carefully and with a purpose to succeed in this class.

5. Assignments are due at the beginning of class. A letter grade will be subtracted for each day an assignment is late and work will not be accepted after three days.

6. Extra credit is not offered as a way to make up for lack of effort. If it is offered, it will only be for special occasions and will be offered to all students. No special cases.

7. For AP classes, a weighted grade requires extra effort at all times. You must earn it.

8. If you follow the weekly plan, do your homework and pay attention in class, you will do fine in this class. Stick with the plan.

9. Respect school facilities, the learning environment, yourself, your peers and all staff members at all times.

10. No shirking, avoiding work, refusing to participate or skipping class to avoid exams or assignments. Be a responsible young adult and you will not have any problems.

11. If you have an excused absence, work will be due the day after you return. You are responsible for obtaining missed assignments when you return. Remember, homework and reading assignments are always posted on the school website.

12. School rules are also classroom rules. If you are following the established rules as listed in your planner, you will do just fine.
