Re:Role as a Contract Liaison – Mandatory Training
Congratulations! And thank you in advance for agreeing to assist the department by accepting the role as a Contract Liaison for the Department of Military Affairs. Contract Liaisons are very important in the Contract Management process.
As you should know, you have been identified as a Contract Liaison in a Department of Military Affairs contract for services (see attached contract draft) and must take part in Contract Liaison Training prior to receiving authorization from the Department to fulfill this role in the contracting process.
Contract Liaison Training is a short reading assignment that should only take approximately fifteen (15) minutes to complete and will provide you with a more specific overview of the role and responsibility of a Contract Liaison in a contract issued by the Department of Military Affairs. This training is intended to provide you with a more comprehensive outline of your role as a Contract Liaison and the department’s expectations of the Contract Liaison.
After completion of the training, you will be required to sign a Certificate and Acknowledgement of Understanding to verify that you fully understand and acknowledge your role and responsibility as a Contract Liaison and must submit said form to the Centralized Services Division. If you should have any questions regarding your role or responsibility as a Contract Liaison, you should contact your immediate supervisor or the Centralized Services Division/Contracting staff to address your concerns.
Again, the department thanks you for your support and looks forward to your cooperation and assistance as a Contract Liaison.
