AHOUSE RESOLUTION
TO COMMEND THE HONORABLE ANNE P. HUTTO FOR HER COMMITTED SERVICE TO THE SOUTH CAROLINA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES AND THE CITIZENS OF DISTRICT 115 IN CHARLESTON COUNTY AS A MEMBER OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA GENERAL ASSEMBLY FROM 2009 TO 2010, AND TO WISH HERFULFILLMENT AND CONTINUED SUCCESS IN ALL HER FUTURE ENDEAVORS.
Whereas, from 2009 to 2010, the Honorable Anne P. Hutto represented the citizens of House District 115 in CharlestonCounty with faithful integrity in the House of Representatives of this great State; and
Whereas, in preparation for her life’s work, attorney Anne Hutto earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Notre Dame in 1989 (government, international studies, history), followed by a juris doctor degree from the Brooklyn Law School in 1992; and
Whereas, during her years in the House of Representatives, Anne Hutto proved her worth as a member of the Medical, Military, Public and Municipal Affairs Committee, as well as the Local Government and Corrections Affairs Subcommittee; and
Whereas, Anne Hutto believes in giving back to her community and does so in service to various organizations. Past or present positions include service as a member of the PACT (Parents and Children Together) Board of Directors, den mother for a Cub Scout troop, and member of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist; and
Whereas, professionally, she is a member of the American Association for Justice, South Carolina Association for Justice, South Carolina Bar, and New York State Bar, and serves as acertified Circuit Court mediator; and
Whereas, as a proud wife and mother, she finds herstrongest support in her family: her husband, David O. Hutto, and their two children, Matthew and Adrianne; and
Whereas, grateful for her commitment to the State of South Carolina, Anne P. Hutto’s colleagues in the House of Representatives wish to thank her for her dedicated service to this body and the people of District 115, and extend heartiest wishes for all the best life has to offer in the coming years. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, commend the Honorable Anne P. Hutto for her committed service to the South Carolina House of Representatives and the citizens of District 115 in Charleston County as a member of the South Carolina General Assembly from 2009 to 2010, and wish her fulfillment and continued success in all her future endeavors.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to our distinguished colleague, the Honorable Anne P. Hutto.
