Anyone desiring to attend should register for the conference now in order to secure accommodation, and so that meals may be planned. Early registration will prevent disappointment if the desired accommodation is no longer available. Payment of the cost of lodging must accompany registration. The remainder of the payment may be delayed, if you wish, until check-in during the conference week. Payment of lodging on campus and conference fee is fully refundable until February 1, 2013.Payment of the cost of food is fully refundable until July 26, 2013.

We are asking that payment be by check or money order. Payment may also be conveniently made through bank transfer or credit card at However we ask that you add 3% to your payment to cover the PayPal transaction fee. Our fees are set to cover actual cost. Without this, the Conference will operate at a 3% deficit for all funds received through PayPal.

Information

Conference Fee:

There is a conference fee of $40 for each person 18 years of age and over. Those under age 18 are free. This fee allows us to cover costs such as obtaining guest speakers and other related conference expenses.

Food Fee:

The charge for eleven meals (Monday supper through Friday breakfast is $35 for each person age 12 and over. Children under age 12 eat free. The menu will be planned and the food purchased by the conference host/hostess. Most adults and older teenagers will serve on a meal team twice during the conference week.

Lodging Fee:

There are three accommodation options at the Highland Retreat conference facility, as well as rooms available off campus at motels, and cabins at a state park.At Highland Retreat, where the meetings are held and the meals are served, there are two air-conditioned buildings and a campground. The two buildings are 0.2 mile apart, with the campground in between. The conference kitchens, dining areas and meeting room are located in Red Oak.

  1. On campus, Mountain View has motel rooms with either a queen bed and twin bunks, or a queen bed and a full bed, or two queen beds. All rooms have a private bath and a small refrigerator. Pillows, blankets, sheets, pillow cases and towels are provided without further charge. The cost is $77minimum / night (double occupancy)with a $12.00/person/night charge for additional persons 18 & over. The $77 minimum covers lodging for two adults. The $12 fee is for each additional personage 18 & over.
  2. On campus, Red Oakhas bunk rooms with separate baths for men and women. You must bring your own sheets or sleeping bag, and pillows, pillow cases, blankets, and towels. The cost is $27.00/person/night for persons age 12 & over.There is a $81/night minimum per room. Children under age 12 are free.
  3. Also on campus, Mt.Everettcampground is a pavilion with picnic tables, and a refrigerator as well as bathrooms with showers. A camp site with electricity and water hookup is $30 a night. Those without hookup are $25 a night.
  4. Thirteen miles away, Lost River Motelis a pleasant facility. Most of the nine rooms have two double beds, a private bath, air conditioning, and a small refrigerator. Call 304-897-6482 for pricing and reservations.

Twelve miles away, Lost River State Park has two-person log cabins @ $80 a night; three-person log-cabins @ $87/night; four-person log cabins @ $97/night; six-person log cabins @$113/night; eight-person log cabins @ $121/night. Log cabins can accommodate two additional persons with cots @ $10 each/night. Modern cabins are available for sleeping four @ $110/night and for eight @ $140/night.
