Separate sealed and super scribed Tenders are invited by this office for supply following materials from the reputed suppliers, Manufacturers on their letterheads so as to reach this office on or before 14-09-2007 upto 15.00 hrs. The Tenders will be opened on the same day i.e. 14-09-2007 at 16.00 Hrs. if possible in presence of Tenderers / representative who ever choose to be present at time.

Terms and Conditions
1) Rates should be Inclusive of all taxes, duties , etc. if any tax or duty required extra should be mentioned clearly, otherwise will be treated as Inclusive.
2) Octroi shall be borne by company. Necessary forms to be collected from store.
3) Tenderers should quote the Rates for the material specified in T-17,T-20,T-21 per Kg. And for T-16, T-18, T-19, T-22, T-23 per No. each , in figures as well as in words.
4) Consent for whether ready to supply at lowest rate Yes or No must be quoted.
5) The tenderers should mention CST0 –VAT / TIN & BST – VAT / TIN No. as applicable in the offer without which offer shall be liable for rejection.
6) Ernest money should be paid on or before dated Dt. 14/09/07 up to 14.30 Hrs. by cash or by demand draft drawn in favour of “ The Superintending Engineer, O & M Circle, M.S.E.D.C.L. Amravati.” Cheques will not be accepted.
7) The offers shall be submitted in separate sealed envelop on or before dt. 14/09/07 and up to 15=00 hrs.
8) Tender received late & without EMD will not be accepted. Those who are exempted from payment of EMD should clearly indicate on front of cover of sealed envelope the reason for exemption of EMD. Merely writing exemption from EMD without any documentary proof will not be accepted & the offer will be liable for rejection.
9) Tenders will opened on dt. 14/09/07 at 16=00 Hrs., if possible.
10) Rates should stand firm at least for three months & should include general packing &
forwarding charges.
11) Delivery :- Rates should be quoted for delivery F.O.R. Major Stores, Amravati.
12) Delivery period: - Delivery of material will be required within 30 days.
13) The material should be as per M.S.E.D.C.L. specifications & drawings. Specifications & drawing and working site if required can be seen and noted from this office during office hours on any working day. Also enclosed herewith.
14) The conditions of advance payment will not be accepted.
15) Sample should be submitted for tender for T –16 ,T- 22 & T- 23.
16) The undersigned reserved the right to cancel any or all the tenders in full or
part without assigning any reasons thereof.

Technical specification of the Seal for Tender T –16 .1. Seals should be made of Polycarbonate. ( Fire Retardant ) size 18 X 14 X 7 mm
2. Seal should be ultra violet Resistant.
3.Seal should be two part seal-Body & insert of different colors if required.
4. Seal should have provision for color-coding program to cover all departments.
5. Seal should have a unidirectional insert.
6. Seal should have embossed type 7 digit numbering on male and female part of
the seal and separately visible after closing of seal.
7. Seal should have embossed type marking of company Logo & name.
8. Ability to change marking every month or as & when required.
9. Tenders should have supplied the seals to Electric companies.
10. 160 mm wire length of twisted stainless steel wire of 0.9 mm non-magnetic non-corrosive. Wire length can be as per requirement.
11. Packaging to be in the following form. Seals to be packed in serially in poly bags having serial no. & quantity prominently displayed in the bag. Seal to be in the lots of 50 or 100 seals per bag. 100 or 50 such bags to be put in a 7-ply croton having prominent display of serial no. and quantity.
12. Tenders should have their own facility for molding and Laser marking of Seals. These facilities should be very secure with no chance of seals being leaved out.
13. 100 samples to be provided for inspection and Testing.
