HOW TO HANDLE YOUR DIAPERS

Diapers are for BABIES only and not to be used as a cleaning or polishing cloth! Any misused diapers will be removed from inventory and you will be charged up to $3.75 each (depending on size). Please do not rinse our diapers as this will promote mold growth. If able, please shake diapers into the toilet to remove solid waste before placing in the pail liner. This helps reduce odors in your home and ensure proper cleaning of diapers. If you are unable to remove all the waste, that is okay. Flushable liners are provided when babies begin eating solids and this assists with removing solid waste from diapers. (It is not necessary to remove solid waste from diapers of exclusively breast fed babies.)

We ask that you do not use Desitin, A&D Ointment or other diaper creams containing cod liver oil or Zinc oxide. This results in staining and damage to the diapers. There is a list of safe diaper creams on our website.

DIAPER COVERS

We supply one diaper cover in your start-up kit. You may purchase additional covers for your use. We recommend 4-6 covers. They may be laundered with your regular baby laundry when soiled. DO NOT use fabric softener. We also recommend line drying as this extends the life of your cover and they dry quickly.

DIAPER PICK UP & DELIVERY

It is best to set your diapers out for pick up the night before as the delivery person may arrive as early as 8:00 a.m. for pickup. There also may be days that we arrive as late as 6:00 p.m. On your specified delivery day, count and record your remaining clean diapers (on the Liner Tag). We will deliver clean diapers in one pail liner and pick up the pail liner full of the dirty diapers. If you are not at home or work, please leave the bag of used diapers on your porch or other pre-designated area. If you forget to leave them out we will still drop off clean diapers, and you will be contacted immediately to set up NEW pick up arrangements. Any occurrence after that, we will need to charge an extra delivery fee of $10.

VACATIONS

Prior to going on your vacation, we ask that you give a one week notice to make sure we can make proper pick up arrangements. Since we are a weekly rental service, our vacation policy is to pick up all dirty diapers. You are not responsible for paying for service while you are away.

ENDING SERVICE

You may cancel anytime after the initial 4 weeks of service. To discontinue your service, we require a minimum of one-week notice in advance of your next scheduled delivery day/payment cycle. After notifying us, you will have 2 weeks to return the pail liner and all diapers. Any unreturned items will be billed to the credit card information provided at the start of service. There is a fine, (not a purchase price) for any damaged/misused or unreturned diapers and diaper pail liners. Infant diapers are $2.75, regular diapers are $3.25 and toddler diapers are $3.75; each pail liner is $15.

PAYMENT

The first 4 weeks are payable upfront and nonrefundable. This is to ensure that at the end of our service to you we will be able to have our products back. After that, you will be billed in monthly increments. Payment must be received by the due date to ensure continued weekly service. In an effort to go as paperless as possible, we encourage payment by credit or debit card but will accept personal checks made at to “Clean Start Laundry”.

Due to the nature of this service and our fluctuating economy, we must reserve the right to make changes to the contract, pricing, and delivery schedule. We are also not responsible for any items left in pail liner at pick up. We will make every attempt to return your items to you should we find them.
