VENDING FEES: $800 FOR 12 FEET OF FRONTAGE, AND $20 PER FOOT BEYOND 12 FEET. Frontage is measured from end to end of the widest item you have (including wings, awnings, flaps, tent legs, signs, etc.). THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE.
ELECTRICAL FEES: 110 volts/20 amps=$35.00; 250 volts/60 amps=$65.00.
You will be charged for each electrical connection to our boxes.

LIMITED VENDOR SPACE IS AVAILABLE IN THE BOAT BASIN - submit contracts early. Payments in FULL for the entire amount of Vending Contract WILL BE ACCEPTED after August 1, 2010, pending space availability. HOWEVER, these payments will be at the discretion of the Event Director for Lake Erie Boat Week and subject to a LATE REGISTRATION FEE OF $100.00 (cash only).
LIST ALL MENU ITEMS YOU WISH TO SELL AT THE LAKE ERIE BOAT WEEK EVENT. The Lake Erie Boat Week Event Director will have the final decision on all menu items that will or will not be sold. Listing your items here is MANDATORY – no menu items will be allowed to be added to this list after the start of Lake Erie Boat Week on September 7, 2010.

You will be notified NO LATER than August 1, 2010, if there is a problem or concern about any of your items. If you do not hear from the LEBW Event Director or Vendor Captain by this date, you may assume that your menu items have been approved.
ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR PAYMENT PRIOR TO THIS DATE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ITEMS LIST.
INSURANCE: Proof of insurance must be mailed, e-mailed, or faxed to the Event Director at the below address by August 1, 2010. You will not be permitted to set up or enter the LEBW event site without providing proof of insurance!

2010 VENDOR RULES AND REGULATIONS

RULES AND REGULATIONS
- ALL VENDORS are applying to vend at the Lake Erie Boat Week (LEBW) event. This is NOT a contract for space, and my not be re-sold or sub-leased in any fashion.
- All vendor insurance forms MUST include “ProRace Marketing LLC, DBA Lake Erie Boat Week,” “APR Events Group, DBA APR Powerboat Superleague” and “City of Huron” as ADDITIONAL INSURED on all forms.
- * All electrical MUST BE connected by the on-site LEBW electrician. Any wiring or connections made are at the discretion of the LEBW ELECTRICIAN, and may be removed or disconnected at ANY TIME they are deemed unsafe or unauthorized. All electrical equipment and wires are subject to inspection by either the LEBW staff, an Erie County Inspector, or both. All cords must be free of cuts. If multiple cords are connected for length, the connection must be off of the ground and covered at all times. YOUR ELECTRICAL WILL BE FOR YOUR SAFE OPERATION ONLY! POWER WILL NOT BE SUPPLIED FOR FANS, AIR CONDITIONERS, HEATERS, OR ANY ITEMS NOT DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE PRODUCTION AND SELLING OF YOUR WARES. LEBW staff is the FINAL AUTHORITY on this matter.
- Your vending space must be safe for pedestrians and customers. All overhangs, awnings, stakes, and posts must be adequately concealed, marked, or raised so as to ensure the safety of everyone present. There will be nothing allowed beyond the front site line (no displays, racks, tables, sandwich boards, etc.). Violation of this item MAY CAUSE IMMEDIATE REMOVAL FROM THE EVENT. All walkways and aisles MUST be kept clear for traffic flow and emergency vehicles.
- All vehicles must be removed from the LEBW area at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the opening of LEBW each day, and there will be NO VEHICLE TRAFFIC ON THE STREET DURING LEBW HOURS (see front for hours of operation). NO non-vending vehicles are permitted in the LEBW area overnight. This includes personal vehicles, campers, tow vehicles, box trucks, etc.
- Check-in and set-up for this event begins Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at 6:00 PM. All vehicles MUST HAVE A VEHICLE PASS to be on Main Street in Huron after that point. Those without passes may be ticketed or towed by local authorities as trespassing on City Property. You will receive appropriate vehicle parking passes and other pertinent information in your Vendor packets by approximately August 15, 2010.
- All propane tanks must be securely fastened (top and bottom) to a fixed object. All connections must be secure and tested daily. You will be inspected by the local authorities, possibly every day, to ensure that your area meets local and state regulations. Please contact the Erie County Health Department or City of Huron Fire Department should you have questions prior to the event.
- Limited 24-hour security will be provided by LEBW staff within Boat Basin grounds. HOWEVER, ALL VENDORS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SECURING ALL ITEMS BROUGHT ONTO THE LEBW GROUNDS, AND/OR TAKING VENDING ITEMS AND VALUABLES WITH YOU AT THE END OF EACH DAY OF OPERATION. LEBW ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY THEFT OR DAMAGE (including acts of God, weather-related damage, or any occurrences out of LEBW’s control) TO VENDOR ITEMS OR PROPERTY THROUGHOUT THE LEBW EVENT, INCLUDING SET-UP AND TEAR-DOWN DAYS.
- As stated on the front of this contract, YOU ARE AGREEING TO PARTICIPATE IN ALL DAYS AND ALL HOURS OF THIS LEBW EVENT. ARRIVING LATE, OPENING LATE, SHUTTING DOWN EARLY, OR BREAKING DOWN YOUR AREA EARLY, WILL BE CONSIDERED A BREACH OF THIS CONTRACT AND COULD RESULT IN LEGAL ACTION, BEING ASKED TO LEAVE, AS WELL AS LOSS OF PAYMENTS MADE, AND A MANDATORY BANNING OF THE EVENT IN FUTURE YEARS.
- No trash, grease, waste, or food by-products may be dumped onto the ground or into the storm drains. You must bring containers for these items or arrange for containers for proper disposal. Barrels for cooking oil will be provided. Ask a LEBW Vendor Committee person for locations. Anyone caught dumping waste or leaving waste in unapproved areas may face charges from local and/or state authorities, and will be banned from participating in future events.
- Vendors agree to use provided waste containers or dumpsters for disposal of waste at all times. At the end of EACH DAY of the LEBW event, waste and trash MUST BE PLACED IN THESE CONTAINERS, OR REMOVED FROM THE SITE COMPLETELY. Any waste or trash left behind at the end of the each LEBW event day will incur a $200 fine per day.
- Vendor spaces are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, based on the date that your contract and deposit are received. This applies to ALL REQUESTS, no matter if you have been a vendor for other events on this property in the past or not.
