Misbehavior includes: foul language, name call- ing,hitting,fighting,playingunfair,notfollowing rulesofactivity,unauthorizeduseoftelephone,unauthorizeduseofbuildingandplayequipment, damagingproperty,oranyactivitythatmayresultininjuryofoneselforothersordamagetosup- plies,equipmentorpropertyinthatplayarea.Thefollowingpolicywillbeenforcedshouldmisbehavior occur:
1.Verbalwarningtochildwithparentnotifica- tionfrom the RecreationAttendant.
2.Writtenwarningsenthomeinwhichparentmustsigntoacknowledgemisbehavior.Child willnotbeallowedbackunsupervisedbypar-ent or guardian until form is handed back in.
3.Childmustbeaccompaniedbyparent,guard-ianorsitter,16yearsorolderwhenvisiting play area.

Monday throughThursday 9:00 am - 12:00 pmSwimmingclassesareintendedtodevelopacomfort levelforeachparticipant inandaroundthewater,aswellasthenecessaryknowledgetobesuccessfulin aquatic skills.
Youarewelcometojointheprogramatanytimeduringthesummerandregisterduringregularlesson times.Ifyouareuncertainregardingtheleveloflessonsforwhichyouarebestsuited,pleasestartat theleastadvancedlevelandtheinstructorswillmove you up.
Childrenmustbeatleastfourfeettall.Groupswillbe formedbasedonlevel,andsessionswilllastfrom30 to 45 minutes. Class size will be limited.

TennisinstructionwillbegivenattheRussellJoyParkTennisCourts.ClasseswillbeconductedMondays and Wednesdays forbeginner,intermediate,aswellasadvanced.Beginnerswillhavethecourt from1:00pm-1:50pm,Intermediatefrom2:00pm- 2:50pm,andadvanced3:00pm-3:50pm.Participantsneedtosupplycourtshoesandtheirowntennisracket.
DRAMACLUB

Interestedparticipantswillhaveanopportunitytopractice drama skills and will rehearse for a live performance at the end of the summer. Production will be determined after meeting with participants.Kidsbetweentheagesof9-15yearsold willhavetheopportunitytorehearsefroma scriptadaptedbytheir instructors.TheprogramwillrunMonday,WednesdayFriday;from1:00pm-3:00pmwithneededdailycommitmentfromparticipants.Athletic wear should be worn to each session.

TheFredonia-PomfretRecreationDepartmentisteamingupwithKarateConnectiontoofferafree programtocommunitykids.Theprogramwillcover areassuchaslifeskills,self-defense,andphysical fitnessduringthe5weekcourse.Students,ages4and6willparticipatefrom10:00am-10:30amon Wednesday and from 12:40 – 1:10 PM on Saturday, whilestudentsbetweentheagesof7and13willbe from10:30am-11:15amon Wednesday and 11:05am – 11:50am on Saturday at theKarateConnectionFacilities.Participants will receive a Report Card, Belt Testing, and this year, they will receive a Free Karate Connection Tee after they have completed 3 Weeks of the Program! Signupisfirstcomefirstservedandclass sizesarelimited.
